Fredddie realmente es único, no habrá nunca nadie con ese nivel de talento, carisma, profundidad emocional y magnetismo ❤❤❤

BTW (SORRY for commenting so much!)…. The movie has a LOT of inaccuracies, including: Freddie NEVER “left” the band. By the time he made his solo album, Roger had already made two solo albums… and while working on his album, Fred actually didn’t finish it as soon as he would’ve liked BECAUSE he was also touring with Queen. The other HUGE inaccuracy: Freddie was not officially diagnosed w HIV/AIDS until two years AFTER Live Aid, in 1987… and he didn’t finally tell his bandmates until 1989.

All 4 are in the Hall of Fame for songwriters, no other bands have done that. The introvert John Deacon was the secret weapon. Freddie once said, "Whatever you do with my music, do it well!" This is the reason why I can only listen to a few covers. Angelina Jordan is great. I miss you so much, even 30 years after your death, Freddie! RIP my Friend 🥹

"Killer Queen" is off their 1974 album "Sheer Heart Attack" and "I'm in Love with my Car" is from their "A Night at the Opera" from 1975. Both are concert favorites. I enjoyed them in 1980 & 1982.

Please don't go by the movie. It is just a movie. A good documentary is Days of Our Lives. No one left the band. They never broke up. Roger was the first to have a single in 1977 and an album in 1981. He doesn't like to stop working. Freddie was the first to say he was 1/4 of Queen. All 4 were unique. Brian's guitar especially because he made it himself and John made him an amp that also made Brian's guitar sound unique. They had just finished The Works tour a couple of months earlier when they did Live Aid. Roger's voice also was unique along with his style of drumming. The movie is entertainment. I wish it wasn't so inaccurate because the real story was much better. They did call Queen "the mothership". They needed each other. I saw Queen in 1977 and it was the best concert I ever saw. There will never be another band like them. They were extraordinary. Killer Queen was the first Queen song I ever heard. I never looked back. 👑

Yes, Roger wrote I’m In Love With My Car .. He locked himself in a cupboard during a tantrum trying to get his song on the B-side of the Bohemian Rhapsody single! 🤣 It worked .. ❤🚗💨💕 Thanks!! Every time I listen to Queen it’s an injection of yummy goodness! 😋

Great reaction! All four members of Queen were very important. I am not sure why some people can become upset when Freddie is praised. he wasn't just the vocalist, he also wrote the most Queen songs, and the most hits out of everyone. He was the one with the artistic vision of the band, and a very unique and orginal personality. Brian May was also a very unique and original guitarist and a great songwriter, Roger Taylor and John Deacon were amazing and very versatile musicians. They could all do something on their own, but together they form a supergroup and an unstoppable force which is why Queen is the 4th best selling artists of all time. It is similar to the The Beatles.

HI GUYS, THANK YOU for another reaction to Queen & Freddie! If you'd like to hear more of drummer Roger Taylor's singing, you should react to: "ACTION THIS DAY" live at MILTON KEYNES BOWL in 1982 (Milton Keynes "Fire At The Bowl" is my all-time FAV concert. I think the performance of: "SOMEBODY TO LOVE" at this show is even BETTER than the one at Montreal... and it's the version that Queen included in their compilation of Best Live Performances.) OTHER MUST-SEE PERFORMANCES.... "FAT BOTTOMED GIRLS" live at MILTON KEYNES "STAYING POWER" and "PLAY THE GAME" ...both at MILTON KEYNES "DRAGON ATTACK" - REPRISE VERSION... live at MONTREAL (PLEASE NOTE: This is a FULL version of the song w its original ending, but you have to include REPRISE in the Search. The first one that pops up at the top of the YT algorithm list is a shorter version w the ending CUT SHORT) "UNDER PRESSURE" live at WEMBLEY in 1986 "WHITE QUEEN" live at ODEON HAMMERSMITH in 1975 "YOU TAKE MY BREATH AWAY" live at HYDE PARK in 1976 "STONE COLD CRAZY" and "LIAR"...both at THE RAINBOW in 1974 "WHO WANTS TO LIVE FOREVER" live at WEMBLEY on FRIDAY, JULY 11, 1986 (I specified the date because there are TWO 1986 Wembley concerts: Friday, July 11 & Saturday, July 12... For this particular song, the FRIDAY version is much better because Freddie's voice is "fresh". (It's also stunningly PASSIONATE.) But, also FYI.... After 1988, Fred never performed live again due to his health... There are also fantastic studio recordings/music videos from these later years. (My FAV songs are actually ALL from this latter time period.)

Queen are proof that the sum of the whole is greater than its parts.

it´s because the singer is always upfront, but in reality they all had same rights in the band. just listen to the queen-songs freddie didn´t sing. for instance "all dead, all dead", "sail away sweet sister" or "`39" which are sung by the guitarist brian may. or the ones besides "i´m in love with my car" sung by roger taylor, the drummer, like "loser in the end" or "fight from the inside". all of them contributed number one hits and also their creativity and voices in the background so indeed the songs would have been different without any of them because they´ve all had very distinctive tastes and artistic approaches which makes queen as a band very versatile.

To me, it’s kind of “odd” when people get upset/refute the statement that w/o Freddie, there wouldn’t have been the Queen band as-we-know-it? Obviously, ALL 4 are magnificent musicians/songwriters and yes, they would’ve had (successful, I’m sure) music careers no matter what… But, even the other Queen band members make similar statements about Fred: Brian May said that when he/Roger were in their band Smile, they “were about to give up, and Fred said ‘Try just one more time… with me.’” (Brian’s words) John Deacon said it was Freddie who encouraged his song writing (Roger & Brian weren’t discouraging him, but not really noticing/encouraging, either). So… SHY John probably would never have written all those great songs, inc. “Another One Bites The Dust” & the famous “Under Pressure” bass line. (John called Freddie “his (John’s) voice”, because he was so shy.) Roger has said that (from his vantage point behind his drums onstage)… he “got to spend 20 years watching THE BEST FRONT MAN in history.” Brian talks about how inspirational Fred was, and Roger has admitted , “We didn’t realize what we had in Freddie until after he was gone.” John sums up his opinion by just saying “NO ONE can replace Freddie Mercury.” (And of course, we know that - upon losing Fred - John retired permanently.) Without Fred, there’d be no “Bohemian Rhapsody”, considered the greatest song in rock music & THE song that EVERYONE knows Queen’s band name for… and there’d be no “Killer Queen”, considered to be the “break out” song that gave Queen their “unique Queen sound”. There’d be no “We Are The Champions”. …And we all know (don’t we?) that Fred INSISTED the band should be named QUEEN. So, YES, these 4 were greater together than the sum of their parts… but if Fred was really that “replaceable”, the band would’ve continued making NEW music TOGETHER after he passed… which didn’t happen. (Even when the remaining 3 produced the Made In Heaven album, they said they did so by thinking WWFD (What would Freddie do?)

Queen are Roger Freddie Brian & John ❤ I think Roger & Brian know that, that’s why no new music as Queen they both have their solo careers & interests I love that they are still selling out concerts with the Queen catalogue who could forgive them that as they are now in their seventies I went to one of their concerts in June at the O2 in London it was fantastic was a mixture of ages all had a great time ❤❤

Everything in the movie was not true. No, Freddie didn't leave the band, they never broke up. Freddie has some solos, but Roger had solo albums first.

I think they're all amazing musicians but I believe Freddie elevated them as a whole team. When you hear Roger and Brian speak about him today (Deaky is retired so you don't really hear much from him expect his mourning after Freddie), you can hear from them too that he was a very special person with impressive skills and a great driving force.

I think you are right and wrong. The dynamic from this ppl are what made Queen. Freddie are a great singer but the other ones fills out a lot. So you are right Freddie was very important for Queen but without the others there would not be Queen.

I love the reaction and agree that there is no replacing Freddie, just as I agree that all four members were integral - all of them together made the band what it was as songwriters and performers. Freddie solo (any of them solo) never replicated the same success, though their performances with other lead singers, like Adam Lambert, are still stunning. As for the movie: please don't take it as gospel. Queen never broke up, nor did they ever record music without Freddie (though Roger and Brian each had solo projects). The band defended it in its portrayal of the movie in its tone as a whole (they vetoed Sacha Baron Cohen's bid to play Freddie and make it a rated-R version, as they said that wasn't the Freddie they knew and loved), Roger was the first to say it wasn't a documentary. He had two solo albums before Freddie ever began recording his. For God's sake, haha, the band went on tour WHILE Freddie was in the process of recording his solo album - watch the "Musical Prostitute" interview to hear Freddie talk about this). He says there "I think most people thought I'd be the first one to go solo and that the band would break up, but here we are, 13 years later, four aging Queens still rocking away." It irritates me that the movie went that direction for the sake of plot. There was tension that Freddie's advance was so large, I'm sure, but they weren't estranged for years or anything like that. It's so inaccurate. They had their biggest stadium tour in South America just a few months before Live Aid. Remember how the movie tries to make us think they hadn't performed in years before then? Nope. Also, Freddie didn't get his AIDS diagnosis until 2 years AFTER Live Aid, in 1987. He also made a big point of dispelling any rumors that Queen would ever break up during live performances from their European Magic tour in 1986. So yeah - the movie brought many fans to Queen, and was very well-acted, but isn't at all true in most respects.
