The last word that Freddie ever sang was the word "Love". Fitting because he was all about love.

Listen to Going back, sung by Freddie under the name Larry Lurex. It’s the first line of that that is the last line of this, so it’s Freddie’s voice at the end. Well done Brian! ❤️❤️

sassy this is the first i have heard freddie voice all day. his voice is so strong. it gets me when he say my hope is gone. i am looking at a pic. of his flat in switzerland & it was taken in oct. of 91 & he died in nov. 91. it think it was his mothers birthday & he called her & said he could not make it home but he sent her flowers & said he would make it up to her. when he was in the u k he went to see his parents every thurs. & his mother made him cheese buns to take home. can you imagine a person as well known with all his money going to see his parents every thurs? it just shows you what kind of a person he really was. 2 weeks before he died he quit taking the meds to make him better & only took pain meds. he was in such a bad shape & so much pain. i think when you are at this point you should have the right to choose to end your life. we have 5 or states where you can do it. i would never want to put my family through all his family went through. actually it was peter, joe & jim that took care of freddie. his sister knew he had aids but it did not really hit her until she saw he was going down. did you ever hear "back chat"? john wrote it & i like it. i know they said brains was not into this kind of song but i still like it. need something up beat. thanks sassy

Just as a side note. The end of the track was made up of a few seconds of every Queen song ever recorded, put together and then rapidly sped through a tape machine. Even Brian said that he could here Freddie's voice getting weaker by the of the song. But he was amazed at how strong he could hit some notes. Id say incredible that he even wanted to sing as he was dying. Thanks for the reaction to the great Freddie Mercury.

Wow from the beautiful guitar at the start and then his voice coming in strong and so powerful this is a magical song. I wouldn’t believe this was his last vocal if you hadn’t said it because it’s just still Freddie great as ever and then Brian who I think is just so underrated as a singer then to that end with snippets of Freddie and then the new life of the baby😭 great vocals, lyrics and music. I’m sure I’ll be listening to this one again.

The static at the end is a nanosecond of every Queen song compressed into a few seconds, followed by his first recording Goin' Back that he recorded under the name Larry Lurex...kind of Freddie's life in reverse, which ended with a baby's cry.

You should do Goin Back by Larry Larux. His voice is so young and the words really take on a different meaning after hearing Mother Love.

Think the baby at the end is supposed to represent him being reborn. Still rubbish 28yrs on he died so young, I believe he had so much more music to give.

Sassy, I don’t know how you can hold it together so well through this song. I do okay until Brian May sings the last verse and then I have to dive into the nearest tissue box. I hate to give you another somewhat sad song to react to but recently I was turned on to “Old Friends” by Roger Taylor. It was his tribute song to Freddie Mercury. I would love to see you react to this song.

I recommended this one to you a little while ago, I’m so happy that you watched it. The lyrics “ I’m a man of the world, they say that I’m strong, but my heart is heavy and my hope is gone”. So heartbreaking. His voice is so beautiful in this song, it’s hard to believe it’s the voice of a man just weeks before his death. I cry every time I hear it, yet I keep listening to it. Thank you Also for the Dreamer’s Ball reaction Sassy. I love that one. By the way, I Love Love Love your coffee mug!

The last song Freddy Mercury recorded in the studio, done just a couple of months before his death. It baffles me to this day how the hell he managed to do this, considering it was almost entirely recorded in Montreux, along with just Brain (guitar god) the vocals were actually recorded before the music which was very uncharacteristic for Queen, but Freddie had so little time left at this point and he tried to deliver as much music as he was physically capable of doing before his body simply started to shut down and get sicker and sicker, very sad. Freddie when they reached the last verse was too exhausted form recording and needed to return home and have a rest but promised he'd return to finish it later, which unfortunately never happened.

That is a beautiful song as someone expresses their feelings as they are dying and then when you hear Brian sing You Realize Freddy is dead at that point he was referring to Mary Austin who at that point in his life was sit with him for six hours or more a day holding him and he compare the two mother's love

Freddie actually sang it to a click track cause the music the music wasn't finished. He knew he wouldn't get back it so he pretty much forced the producer to sing to a straight click track and gave it a shot without knowing what the song sounded like which I find incredible.

Freddie dying was not the reason he couldn't get back to the studio to finish the recording, he was just too tired and too ill to come in to do it, this is why Brian sang the last verse

Brian actually saw Freddie only a few days before he died. Brian had went to Garden Lodge to see him and he brought along Wayne's World on vhs and they watched it together. Brian has said that Freddie was so sad that he couldn't get up to look out of his window, Freddie told Brian that he didn't need to feel that he had to do anything for him, he didn't even need to talk to him, he was just so happy that he was there with him.
