no band, no singer, no group of musicians has ever touched my soul and my life like queen... none what so ever. I've been a massive fan of Queen since early 80s and I was about 10. they were the first band I really sat up and took notice of. I really felt like a fan once I knew all their names lol, big deal for me as a kid because I never had that level of interest in another band to know who was who and who did what. but queen I played obsessively... so obsessively that I practically played nothing else for some years... all queen and freddie's solo stuff non stop. queen are without doubt MY band.... THE band... I'm in my 40s now, and they've always been a passion of mine... quite an obsessive passion... kinda weird saying that lol I'm in my 40s and obsessively passionate about queen... really truly love freddie so much, all of them... what I feel inside myself is like what you see girlies did for the beatles and take that lol. seems kinda weird when I think of it like that. it's just a love. I never understood the screaming girls for beatles and take that, but love for a band, real love for a band. I get it. maybe I'm just to manly and restrained to be a screamer and don't succumb to outward hysteria... but queen... if god were to remove music from the universe and leave only one band then for me that one band will always be queen. thank you guys, John, Roger, Brian and our Freddie.

Are you 'avin a laugh? Is he 'avin a laugh? Same here. The first band, that had me blown away, the moment I seen them. I sat up took notice & was mesmerised. From that very first time, I knew I had to find out everything about these guys. I was devastated, when I found out about Freddie. There never has, nor will there ever be, anyone like them/him, again.

There aren't probably more than a small handful of artists alive today who could pull this song off - and likely none who could pull it off like Freddie Farrokh Bulsara, Mercury.

My brain is actually through a huge denial because there is no way a band can be this talented and cover various genres so perfectly and flawlessly. The music is always spot on and Freddie's voice, oh my God, how was he able to adept to every genre so effortlessly? I was born in 1982 so I grew up listening to their 80s hits and watching their performances on tv but was never too interested in listening to their other songs except for crazy little thing called love. Growing up, I was more of a hard rock/metal fan and didn't know back then that they did those too. Only started listening to their albums after watching the movie and kicking myself now for not exploring their work sooner.

This song gives me those rainy days vibes, ya know- like, it’s a Saturday afternoon, the sky is a mix of a gentle blue and an English grey, and you’re sitting at a coffee table at home or at a smoky café (or a classy bar possibly) and you just sip whatever warm beverage is currently burning your, practically frozen, fingers- all this while you just think about what you’re going to do next in your life, since it’s, in this scenario, not been at all eventful up to this point and you just feel plain melancholy and reflect on the past and what got you here in the first place.
