Yeah, I'm with you. The movie isn't as good as it was when I was young. But the soundtrack is amazing - in no small part to Jonathan Davis. Considering the book and movie were about Lestat's music career, it was the least the producers could do.

I remember when my mom got me the soundtrack for my 16th birthday along with the Hannibal Lecter book series by Thomas Harris. I watched both movies like a hundred times as a kid and loved them. My dad got me obsessed by Anne Rice when he gave me both of her books "The Mummy or Ramses the Damned" and "Interview With A Vampire". My husband and me listen to the soundtrack a lot, but then it got lost after we had to get a new car and I had to buy another copy I was sad.

This is one of my fav vampire movie out of the bad ones (B ones) if that makes any sense lol I still somehow enjoy it even though it's a bit cheesy or lacking. While the action of the movie differs from what you can find in the book (and also displeased Anne Rice, the writer), the soundtrack, well... there's nothing like it. Nothing.
