The Original Soundtrack used a multitude of different artiste, but Jonathan sang the songs in the movie as Lestat. I think the reason was some weird copyright issue if I'm not mistaken. Even though I prefer Jonathan's voice the others did a great job as well so you should listen to the original soundtrack if you've never done so before.
