I sm amazed how Freddie can run from one end of the stage to the other and still sing without being out of breath or even breathing hard. He was in great physical shape to do that for 2 hours, and then do it again for a second night

One of the biggest influences in Axl Rose's career was indeed Freddie Mercury, and one of his self-confessed biggest achievements was when he shared the finale song with Elton John doing Bohemian Rhapsody. Axl has always professed that Queen were their biggest influence. I first saw Queen live when I was in the crowd at Live Aid in 1985 when I was 16 years old and have been a fan ever since. I was also lucky enough to be at Knebworth Park in August 1986 when they did the finale of the Magic Tour and they're were 150,000 of us and Queen flew over us in Helicopters and them waving to us, a memory I will always cherish. Wishing you well from Manchester UK. Stay safe

They did everything by eye which is you'll see them looking at each other, and when Freddie does some certain moves they're coming to the end of the song

Watching Brian run up those stairs and not miss a lick... and Deaky... he was on fire! If you haven’t already, their doo-wap song trio from this concert was amazing too! Love Queen live; just no one compares. Thanks for your reaction.

They always practiced weeks before a concert or tour..using all their lights etc. They were voted Best live concert performers of all time by Absolute radio a few days ago. Fantastic. These shows and tours took a lot out of Freddie because every song was a huge banger..and Freddie performed like no other..physically running around and dancing about. Their stage set was massive..as you saw Freddie running from one end to another..

Don’t you love at the end of every song how they always watch Freddie and how he swings the arm down to end the song. They made some incredible music in Freddie’s last days. You should listen. And one artist I know Freddie influenced was Garth Brooks just about one of the biggest country artist ever. They toured America, did a concert in Texas, Houston I think. Garth was 17 years old he said he watched Freddie running around on that stage, and he was hooked. If you ever watched one of his shows, he does Freddie justice. There will never be another Freddie. He is a legend

After the Freddie Mercury tribute concert Axl said Freddie was the best teacher he ever had! This was a long time standby song for Queen at concerts over the years. Have you done "I'm Going Slightly Mad yet? It's off the Innuendo album, and in the video, although very ill, Freddie shows his camp humor and acting talent while poking fun at himself.

As much as I love Freddies vocals in this , what I really love above everything is Rogers amazing drumming and of course his backing vocals. I’ve seen the Wembley RogerCam version of this and he is totally amazing to watch. He works so hard but is usually ignored by reactors. It’s such a shame as he is brilliant. He Still is even today - I saw Queen + AL in Feb. Incredible stuff and they opened with this song.

Songs like this are best live. But there are a couple of songs that the studio version is more detailed with the layered harmonies

Things is one of them. Lots of left and right oing on here in the studio version. Also during Wembley clearly Freddy could not reach allmof his high notes anymore all the time. This changes the melody sometimes making it less atracttive to me.

If you want to hear some Queen songs from 1991 (the year Freddie died), The Show Must Go On and These Are The Days Of Our Lives are great ones!! Freddie was really sick when he recorded these and when he filmed the video for the second one, but he still gave his all!! You could also check out No One But You, it’s a tribute song the rest of the band (Brian, Roger and John) made for Freddie in 1997, it’s really beautiful and you can see how talented they are! This must have been recorded on the Friday night because he has the white jacket on, the whole of live at Wembley video was supposed to have been recorded on the Friday but they where not happy with the results of the video editing so got a different director in for the Saturday and it's the Saturday nights performance we see when we watch the whole of the live at Wembley video. On the friday night he had the white jacket on and on the Saturday he was wearing the yellow one. There is not a lot of footage from the Friday floating around, i do wish they would release more footage from that night as this is a great performance.
