A great video idea would be to do a tierlist of responses to d4 closed systems. -Semi Slav -Classical Slav -Schlecter slav -Chebanenko slav -Triangle slav -tartakower qgd -lasker qgd Etc

Hey Molton , thank you for the amazing video, it'd be highly appreciable if you make a video on the Sicilian najdorf theory like you made one on the kan

Hey Molton, Would it be possible for you to do a video on the Ruy Lopez. I'm only a 1500 and all the lines are overwhelming for me. It would be great if u could cover the main lines I need to get started with it. Thank you.

Molton, please take your time to come back to KZbin. If you want to share where you’ve been that’s great but you don’t have to. Take care of yourself and hope to see you soon 👍.

These pawn structure videos are immensely useful and one of the first KZbinrs to cover this intriguing topic was Chess Coach Andras but someone else's take is also useful as it brings a different dynamic to the same structure by virtue of playing style. Just an idea: Something that hasn't been covered, according to my knowledge as yet, is a video series on every variation of the Ruy Lopez from Morphy Defense, Open Ruy Lopez, Closed Ruy Lopez as well as side variations. This would be useful for intermediate players determined to learn it.

Yes there is nothing on the Ruy Lopez as you say. Perhaps because most people cover those already in many courses :)

Hello molton, Can you please tell me which move order is more preferable in the scheveningen sicilian ( not asking about the transposition from najdorf ) I am asking about e6 first or d6 first it doesn't make a difference in the open sicilian but in closed or anti Sicilian which one would you prefer more Thanks

Hello! There are my advice. Basically I think best way is: - Puzzles (at least try to reach a rating of 2000, you can do free on lichess) - Endgames I am studying endgames throught videos and free courses on chessable Openings are usefull but it's not primary to study them deeply; what is the sense to study a variation to be up a pawn if you can't win a winnable endgame Molthun training was 100 puzzles, 10 blitz and 10 rapid games a day btw Also there are apps like Aimchess, the free version is ok and it's usefull So imho - Puzzles (throught Lichess, Aimchess) - Endgames When you finish it you can proceed studying pawn formation, which will be usefull for understanding middle games and openings structure. But imho puzzles are necessary as hell
