Lovely trip down memory lane. My late Mother used to work in their shoe department when l was a teenager. She served all the royals and aristos. l used to go into the kitchens with her to have lunch and the chefs and pâtissiers used to spoil me rotten. I'd always come away with boxes of cakes and chocolates for later. I was 5'10" and when l was older l was asked to be in one of their fashion parades. Loved this video, great memories!

I went a bit crazy at Fortnum and Mason when we went to London earlier this month. I got the Platinum Jubilee tote bag, the "God Save the Queen" musical cookie tin, the Platinum Jubilee loose leaf tea AND tea bags, misc. other tea, a coin tin that looks like the building and the F&M Cat mug, which I adore!! I did get a Scotch Egg to try, but I think I would have liked it better warm. The day we went it was a bit crazy busy, but I still enjoyed poking around. I could have spent a lot longer there!!! So fun! Your videos were my inspiration to go. ❤️

@@norton6654 the tea is a good black tea. Nothing particularly stand-out. The biscuits in the tin are a dark chocolate with macadamia nuts. Individually wrapped. Very good, but quite rich. I think they'd be very good with tea!! The best part of the cookie tin is that you wind it up and it plays "God Save the Queen" which I think is adorable and unlike any other souvenir I brought back!! 😊

So loved that Hannah - especially Fortnum and Mason with their gorgeous aqua signature colour [ Have just bought a top in the same colour for the summer, will go great with white jeans ] I'm not a Royalist in particular, but have always had a soft spot for our Queen, ever since my school lined the route in Fulham on the day of the coronation, or maybe it was a couple of days before, I forget. I remember the golden coach and this very tiny, beautiful lady inside. Hope this big jubilee wont be too much for her x

I was 7 and our school did a special tableau for our prize-giving ceremony shortly before the coronation. I was chosen to be HM and my parents made the full regalia ... crown, orb & scepter. I wore an old beaded evening gown of my mother's and an "ermine" trimmed robe. I looked so regal in all the photos especially as I was missing my two front teeth!

I love their signature blue...I remember having my mind blown by fortnums in the 1970s....for a kid from Montana...I didn't know what to do so I just had a lime Rickie and a welsh rarebit at the sit down counter...it was the right thing to do....your shopping videos are such a delight....the ultimate window shopping. Thanks....windy chilly Montana day lashing rain occasional snowflakes....deer in the yard and owls just emerging and beginning to hoot...it would be a delight to see Hampton court, Kew or even the Chelsea flower show....soon our flowers will begin their seasonal displays...our prairie and alpine wildflower displays are among the finest on this fair planet

Fortnum and mason is a huge must whenever we visit london. We literally go there to restock on our favorite teas and cookies. Easy £100+ purchase. We always shop as if we won’t come back to london and yet we always try to make it a pit stop just so we can restock.

oh my gosh this place has the best biscuits ever ! my brother sent me a biscuit tin for Christmas it was just like a carousel and actually turned at the base with music, the biscuits inside were the best buttery assorted flavours i have ever tasted each one was so delish it takes the biscuit to another level! ❤😋

Absolutely love Fortnum and Masons. I was there a couple of years back for afternoon tea. We couldn´t eat it all, and they giftwrapped the leftovers, and gave us a complimentary bottle of sparkled water. I bought a hamper, which was my handluggage on the plane back, all the contents of the hamper was in my checked in baggage. 😅The beautiful tins the products come in, like the biscuits and hot chocolate ones... Looks so good on the open shelves in the kitchen.

LOVE that you are showing what is on offer for the Queen's Jubilee, lucky to even be alive at this rare moment to enjoy the festivities! I love that you show all of the beautiful buildings and the tiny architectural bits that not everyone notices (I do). I also would have grabbed the Jubilee tote, not only for the fact that it makes a great souvenir but because it has LONG handles that actually stay on shoulders! (I have so many totes w/short handles that are not usable) Would have probably grabbed the large biscuit tin, simply for the "treasure" factor LOL. Great vlog!! #lovethesquirrel

I LOVE Fortnum and Mason. I'm always in there a couple of times at least when I've been in London. Their afternoon tea is lovely. I love their Blood Orange Marmalade. I brought three jars home. I CAN get it, but it's VERY expensive with shipping and as much as I love it, there is a line I have to draw. It's more fun to buy in person anyway. Be sure to go to the bathroom, the hand soap is so wonderful and you can buy it.
