On public tv here in the states we used to get a sitcom called "Are you being served?" and this store reminded me of that show--wonder if that is where it was filmed? Loved it and miss it and would love to visit Liberty as I am a home sewer & love fabric!! Claridges is also very beautiful---Wow! Started watching you last Winter and loved your walks so it is a nice change now to see people out and about. You look very happy and thinner!!!!

its funny that its called Liberty, its like taking piss on humanity, that stuff there is so expensive that not everyone can afford it. And that our world is actually not free because of money control and constant surviving, working and consuming. That is pretty much our world is about. And it even have masonic symbol of white and black chessboard pattern on floor, which is shows a lot on celebrities, movies, music etc. Truman show, which is collapsing. Just smth to share to open people eyes. :)

Really enjoyed that trip to Liberty. Those liberty print little girls’ dresses are so cute! A bit pricey though ! Those animal rugs made me laugh. I could see them in a child’s room. You definitely should buy yourself some quirky decorative pillows for your couch. They make such a difference and can be changed seasonally or just when you want a bit of a different look. Hey Hannah don’t know if you’ll see this comment as this is in an older video I commented in another video how I just found your channel and absolutely LOVE it. I’m almost through binging all of the uploads. They’re brilliant!! Each one is soo good. I love seeing all the shops and everything in them and how they’re decorated for the seasons and holidays, the merchandise and packaging as well and all the sweets and foods. I really like the tea ones. Also the tours that you do of the different areas like Notting Hill, Cotswolds etc, provide such a wonderful ‘escape’ at the end of a stressful day or week. I love watching them as a way to wind down after a difficult day. Of course I’ve subscribed and can’t wait for new videos. I worked at Liberty's in '68. Lovely to see inside and how it's changed. Was always exciting to see 'the famous people'. Brian Jones came into the department I was working with his girlfriend.

Liberty looks almost deserted! It’s always been super busy when I’ve been in there. Can you tell a difference in the number of people in stores like Liberty, Harrods, and Fortnum and Mason since it’s a lot harder to be a tourist right now due to Covid? We had tea at Claridge’s in December 2019...right before the world closed down. The Christmas decorations in 2019 were done by Louboutin.

Thought I'd just add this Hannah - its so easy to make cushion covers - you don't need a machine, and you can choose some gorgeous Liberty fabric to vamp up your room. I have made all kinds of soft furnishings over the years, I have summer cushion covers, then as we approach October I change to winter ones. There are so many "How to make " blogs out there and its very rewarding x

Liberty is the original home of quirky! Glad you are showing this store, I haven't been inside it for nearly 50 years. The interior is the same but I notice that they aren't filling the place to the brim - there is room to walk around without knocking down a display. I always bought gifts there. The prints are wonderful- I was introduced to the style of William Morris which I still love. I still have a scarf that has held up beautifully.

My postponed trip back to Scotland in 2020 (expat in CA) was to include my final 2 days in London specifically to visit Liberty which I have never been to! Why these prints are called liberty prints? these fabrics are probably coming from textile mills in Bangladesh, Pakistan or india at very cheap prices. even denim. 85 pounds for a tiny frock? wow! to my idea hardly @14-16 pounds for this frock including shipping to uk on 200-500pcs order. this is how luxury brands get super rich.
