I didn't think The Queen and 007 at the London Olympics couldn't be beat. I was wrong.! Just watched the entire tea with Paddington. The Queen evidently has a great sense of humor, doesn't take herself too seriously, and she's got rhythm, too! I'm afraid the Brits' "stiff upper lip" has been overstated, but the truth is out now. They throw a great party!

After I got over my hatred of Prince Charles because he cheated on my beloved Diana and I looked into him as a person I was surprised to find out what a good man he is. There are many things he does to contribute to privately to help others and then there's the Charities that he does make public because they need the help. But anyway now that I've seen him as a person apart from Diana my heart goes out to him especially right now. I can only imagine the mixed feelings of the only way you get the job you've been waiting for all your life is for your own mother to die. Whether I'm right or wrong what I've seen in the past few years a closeness that's developed between the queen and her son. And I think she feels like she can die without worrying about what kind of King Charles will be. And the queen also recognized Camilla was the right person for Charles all along. Turns out to be a loving and supportive consort and wife. She also does things privately for children that isn't made public knowledge. She doesn't seek the Limelight for herself. So the queen has seen this and given her blessing. This has made me feel wonderful and sad at times. We're celebrating her her life while she still alive. It almost feels like we're saying goodbye letting her know how belove she was before she dies.

Yes I agree with you, I guess all countries are having so called journalists who are paid to be anti-patriotic. They should be ashamed, your beautiful Queen and all of the pomp and circumstance is the very reason both of my children went to England in high school to see their sights and both of children loved it and it was such a educational and fun experience. I finally got to go and see England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France and Guernsey. I was thrilled and loved every minute of it. It was the best trip I ever took in my life and the beauty of the countries was astonishing ad the people were warm and welcoming. Even the cab driver when we couldn’t figure out the fare was very helpful and kind. The waitresses and waiters and salesclerks were all so kind and helpful. England and all had wonderful manners. The only thing I got hot and I couldn’t get any cold drinks. We went into Harrods to shop and eat and I said I want a whole glass of ice and a coke, the waitress brought a glass, one small ice cube and a can of Coke, I gave up you just don’t understand cold drinks. I couldn’t believe the store wasn’t air conditioned, if I ever went back I would go at a different time of the season.

@@KendalMike My eyes have been glued to the television; especially at 5:00 a.m. Central Time. Both sides of my Grandparents were of British descent and we were raised to be Monarchist. When I was young, we sang, facing The Queen's lovely picture God Save The Queen. It taught us respect and pride. I love the United Kingdom and I'm a huge British history fan! One day, I'm hoping to make it over there! It's my dream trip! I shall miss Queen Elizabeth! She was also our Queen of Canada!🇨🇦 I hope people let go of the past and welcome a new era. God bless King Charles and his wife, Camilla!
