Paul Keres gives a masterclass in a creative and energetic attack. First, he sacrifices a pawn to activate his dark squared bishop, then sacrifices the queen for the immense piece activity, then activates the light squared bishop and eventually sacrifices the exchange to eliminate the last defender of the enemy king, after which his bishop pair checkmate the lonely king.

Best chess channel on KZbin. Rather than mindlessly reading engine lines like most, you clearly demonstrate a superior knowledge of the game and its principles. Even as a master of the game, I still enjoy your analysis. I send all of your videos to my friends who want to understand the game

Sir, in my opinion, Keres was the most strong player that not win world champion chess title (ahead Reshevsky, Bronstein, Chigorin and Korchnoi) - do you agree?
@chesswisdom

Yes, I agree, sir. However, I'm not so sure, if he was ahead of Bronstein, as Bronstein is my favorite player:)

Oh, that’s interesting to know, that Bronstein is your favorite, Sir. I’m a great fan of Korchnoi but I think it’s reasonable to believe that Keres was stronger. I will do some research and see what I can contribute here

I would not write off Rubinstein as a candidate of the best player not to be World Champion.
