There were times, late in Queen's career, where QUEEN seemed determined to make us forget they were a heavy rock band. Fortunately, Brian always reminded us, if only on increasingly fewer tracks. But this is from the early days when (on their first 3 albums) they rocked as hard as ANYONE.
@TheBlackQueen4 жыл бұрын
@@davidbaron8330 It was more their mid career when they went a little too hard into synth and disco that took away from their more rocking music. The Works was pretty much Hot Space but with some more Rock tracks. A Kind Of Magic however, that album is their welcome return to their heavy metal roots and even continues where they left off on Queen II with more fantasy lyrics, symphonic and progressive structures, and even diving back into the sword and sorcery genre of heavy metal that they essentially invented back in '74 on Queen II, a little genre you might know now as FUCKING POWER METAL!!! Afterwards, The Miracle was less heavy but still very strong in the Rock territory and Innuendo features some of their most Rocking tracks the ever released! So it was just that The Game/Flash Gordon/Hot Space/The Works period where they went too Poppy.
