This is such a fun and well written song. I just love it. So creative and unusual for the time period.

Hello Rob - Can’t wait!! 💟 Thanks Rob for another great reaction!! 💟 Hahaha!! Its called “panning” when the song goes right to left & visa versa. That’s why Queen fans always recommend ear phones. 🎧🎧

That concert image you asked about is at Hyde Park in 1976. "Millionaire's Waltz" is from their 6th album "A Day at the Races." Live Aid was in 1985 at Wembley. Queen had a great relationship with John Reid, they respected eachother. Queen signed on with him in 1975 and in 1978, their contract ended and they parted on very mutually amiable terms, Queen just felt they were ready to manage themselves. I sugguest you check out the documentary "days of our lives" to help answer or clarify any questions you might have. kzbin.info/www/bejne/r2OxgKyGfp2So5o enjoy.

Awesome reaction! Thanks for reacting to this song. This song has been known as Bohemian Rhapsody's little sister, since it came out a year after Bohemian Rhapsody. Another song from Freddie, his last master piece, was Innuendo, it would be great if you could react to that, it is a great song. Like Bohemian Rhapsody it was a number one hit, and it was slightly longer then Bohemian Rhapsody. It was from Queen's last album, a few months before Freddie's death, another great song from the same album is Don't Try So Hard, Freddie's voice is amazing on this song, you would never guess it was someone close to death. Freddie did specially wrote The Millionaire Waltz because he respected John Reid, they had a very good working relationship. He wrote the song Death On Two Legs for the manager he really, really disliked, he was named Norman Sheffield. This was not covered in the movie, The Sheffield brothers were taking all of Queen's earnings, they left their old management in 1975, before the release of Bohemian Rhapsody. Death On Legs is known as an early diss track, if you listen to it you will understand exactly how Freddie felt, it might likely surprise you. He also wrote Flick Of The Wrist about this same manager which basically lays out the band's position at the time, they were stuck in a very bad contract. The part in The Millionaire Waltz that refers to John Reid is the Love Brigade. This reference was to a group of artist who used to tour all over England in the summer. If you get a chance you should listen to all of the nuances Freddie Mercury uses in his voice during The Millionaire Waltz, he practically delivers every word differently, he constantly changes his colour and tone. It is like a masterclass in expressive singing.
