A Freddie masterpiece. Check out Lily of the Valley, Flick of the Wrist, Mustapha, Death on Two Legs (lyric video), Cool Cat, Who Needs You, Nevermore, Tie Your Mother Down…so many gems!

Deaky's bass line is unbelievable! Four guys sounding like a full orchestra.

Thanks for the request Don! This song is like a perfect creation. It features amazing piano playing and a fanatic bass line, the song also features different sections. The expression in Freddie's voice during this song is unmatched. Freddie used different phrasing on every line. He uses different colours and tones throughout the song, and he knew exactly which words to emphasize. The expression in this song is like a dramatic reading. Freddie was a master of expression and phrasing.

Thank you, Faith!!! Songs like this and many many more is why I love Queen and I like Led Zeppelin.....Queen is pure raw talent & genius!!!!💖💖💖💖 Rodger Taylor said that the drummer for Led Zeppelin, John Bonham, was better than everybody and it was heartbreaking that he died from overconsumption of alcohol in 1980. He aspirated on his own vomit from drinking too much. The guitar players were great,,Jimmy Page & John Paul Jones; and the lead singer was just sexy for people that like to hardcore rock and rollers. Robert Plant was a really really sweet man and he would not join up with Led Zeppelin unless he could bring his drummer along with him!!! Plant ALWAYS had the sweetest things to say about Freddie Mercury and Queen.

Wasn't that a lot of fun? Supposedly in that breathy bit where Freddie sings "My fine friend..." he was imitating the voice of the German actress/singer Marlene Dietrich, one of his favorites.

Fantastic song..the switch ups again..as you know a Queen trait...and the song will inevitably end as it started musically and lyrically. Innuendo being another example and more so White Queen. They are the best at surprising you though because their songs were always different..they didn't want to have the same music churned out..if they fancied a 50s 60s or 70s feel or rock, rock n roll, pop or Opera..they did it. Stone cold crazy was considered to be the first "thrash metal" of it's kind. They said there wasn't one thing that could confine them or contain then. Freddie was certainly not shy about the music he and the others put out.. Queen were most certainly their own style and brand. They most certainly got experimental.. and it worked.

Love the fact that traditionally a rock band, Queen can write and create a Waltz ,which is reminiscent to the great composers of centuries past. Special talent.

Queen does it again. So diverse. I love when they do this type if song. Not many other rock bands would attempt it. Try Seaside Rendezvous, Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon, or even Bring Back Leroy Brown. Well Leroy Brown is a little different sounding than the other two, I think it's more of a ragtime feel; but si fun.

This masterpiece yet underrated song, is Freddie's "Thank you" to their new manager, John Reid for making them millioners with their Breakthrough album "A Night At the Opera"...The were a very close friends (or something more I don't know for sure)🤷♀️ I love this song so much, Freddie's creativity leaves me speechless...🙊🙊What a talented and gifted from God human being...!🥰🙏❤️ Bring out the charge of the love brigade There is spring in the air once again Drink to the sound of the song parade There is music and love everywhere Give a little love to me Take a little love from me I wanna share it with you I feel like a millionaire Once we were mad, we were happy We spent all our days holding hands together Do you remember, my love How we danced and played? In the rain we laid And we could stay there forever and ever Now I am sad You are so far away I sit counting the hours day by day Come back to me, how I long for your love Come back to me Be happy like we used to be Come back to me, oh my love How I long for your love Won't you come back to me? My fine friend Take me with you and love me forever My fine friend Forever, forever Bring out the charge of the love brigade There is spring in the air once again Drink to the sound of the song parade There is music and love everywhere Give a little love to me Take a little love from me I wanna share it with you Come back, come back to me, make me feel Make me feel like a millionaire

This has a real carnival feel to it, just like Seaside Rendezvous. Their versatility never ceases to amaze me. I have to say I appreciate the technical aspects of this song, amazing. And the lyrics, so personal, but it is not one of my favorites. It's a lark, it's fun, a bit of cotton candy. But right now I'm leaning towards the more serious.
