I am really trying to get the next video out - I have had some challenges, but I won't give up on this process. One challenge is losing ALL the video I shot of the build when my camera quit and corrupted the SD card!! BUT - I am working on a solution so stay tuned.

I have been assembling mine, as i recover from shoulder surgery and taking my time doing so. However, I did add a slight twist to mine so that it will be even stronger than an original QueenAnt build by replacing all of the c extrusions with thicker extrusions for another importer, so it is going to be a monster. I did enjoyed your unboxing and looking forward to your build video, what I have yet to find is someone that, has done a build using Mach 4. I did not buy an entire kit but an upgrade kit. thanks for the video it was well done!

I have a 220v outlet available in my garage. What would be the advantage of getting the 220v spindle over the 110v spindle? Does it provide more power?

Generally the simple answer is YES more power. But having said that you can get a 2.2kw spindle in 100 or 220V. The difference is the current being drawn will be double for the 110V and so wiring and other parts of the control circuit would have to be beefed up compared to the 22OV version. My CNC is being built in my basement and I am going to use a Cooker socket as my 220V supply for the VFD which supplies power to the spindle.

Was there a VFD supplied from Yuyong for the spindle? Or did you have to purchase one separately? And also . . . what are your thoughts on the machine after using it for this time?

Hi Jack, I haven't started using the CNC yet - work is getting in the way. YuYong supply the VFD and it is one of the makes recognised for quality.

Over all how satisfied are you with it. I’ve got a LongMill but need a little better machine that’s got future upgrade ability. The MK2 30x48 doesn’t plus it runs on V-Wheels and lead screws that whip hard. Did you have any problems getting it from overseas?

Hi - thank you for your message. The short answer is "Buy It!!" Send Marvin an email at [e-mail] and mention Paul from Canada. I don't get anything but it won't hurt if they know who referred them. Marvin is great to deal with. I bought the QueenAnt 1515 Pro V2.0 specifically because I wanted a bigger machine right from the start. I know someone with a Longmill and he has spent more than I did because he has had to make upgrades to get the machine where he wants it to be. I also wanted a machine that has linear bearings and rails plus ball screw drive - they allow much heavier working with greater accuracy. My CNC is not working yet, but its getting there. Please stay tuned. I have a full time job and video editing is VERY time consuming.

Yes I did - took about three months to arrive. But you can pay extra for faster delivery. The three months gave me time to build a table and run 220v to the work area. Plus lots of video watching and trying to figure out the controller.

Hi. Pay attention on spindle: it should be 2 poles, not four....check it to be sure (usually Huanyang spindle is 2 poles) 03:42 on this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5nPmIKeqNJ6d6s

With '4pole' , what they mean is 3 phases and GND, vfd makes 3 phase output.

Pretty sure it says 4 pole on the motor. But I will double check for sure. As Darko said, it's 2.2Kw and three phase.
