QUEENS BLVD - SUNNYSIDE | 4K Walking Tour Queens NYC | Roosevelt Ave and Queens Blvd

Walking in Sunnyside Queens - Roosevelt Ave and Queens Blvd from 52nd St to Van Dam St.
Sunnyside is a neighborhood in Queens located just east of Long Island City, and south of Astoria.
The neighborhood is serviced by the #7 Train that runs from NYC to Flushing.
We start the walk on Roosevelt Avenue by 52nd St and make our way to Queens Blvd, heading West. Along the way we will pass by some shops, people on the street, and the occasional rumble of the 7 train on the elevated tracks to our left. Train horns will be honking at times due to workers on the tracks doing maintenance and repairs. Eventually we end the walk at Van Dam St, but not before helping someone find the YMCA. All in all, a good walk and great ambience of a busy stretch of avenue in the city. We will be returning here a few times, so stay tuned for more walks in Sunnyside.

I lived at 43-33 48th Street, for my first 11 1/2 years. This building is pictured around the 7 minute mark, on the right side of 48th Street. My family then moved to Long Island.
