You obviously never lived near the ocean. I lived here my entire life & water levels HAVE NOT RISEN AT ALL. It’s coastal corrosion which is normal & the residential flooding is because the non-up keep of the sewers & drainage systems. Stop talking of what you know nothing about. Also the stupid reporter for the “news” is calling the town Belle Harbor, Far Rockaway. Effin idiot.

Beach Channel and Far Rockaway are known flood zones. When I was a kid, people didn't build homes there because of it. Beach channel was a grassy field..

@@eddyvideostar they built there because of greed. Any Queens natives knows you do not live/have a house in that area. It is a natural swamp/Marsh. It always floods even without rain water can bubble from the ground to the surface. No home lasts more than 30 yrs there.

I could have purchased 3 properties there 10 years ago, but decided not to because of flood risk. I visit beach in the Summer, but that’s it. People need to analyze risk/reward….it’s not safe living in a flood zone!
