Era was a different direction .. but you're right the songs were just straight up BEAUTIFUL. That's pretty much why I stan for this band cause when you strip away the "noise" you have beautiful songs period. They're very Nirvana like in that quality.

Avoir, Adieu, Goodnight, I'm too wrong, to get right, But I cant wait forever, I've always been alone, A fool believes he's clever. Don't you wanna go into the hollow? I won't go it alone, Aren't you gonna follow? I live behind my eyes, Be sure to keep the surprise, I break what I've already borrowed, That's why I always go, Alone into tomorrow. Don't you wanna go into the hollow? Don't wanna go alone, aren't you gonna follow? Into the hollow

Polly, thank you for the lyrics, i had never had them straight, only muttering and humming syllables not knowing how much the complete detail with live acoustic could open my eyes, tears falling down for those perhaps left behind. lost down a path not a plan nor a light.

I hated most of Era Vulgaris when I first heard it. But after a while it grew on me. This song I liked since I first heard it and as always their acoustic performance rocks! Still though, there are parts of EV I don't like. I forget which songs...but when they do that weird twisted/raspy/psychotic pseudo-rap kind of thing. What is that? Anyway, EV isn't their best album, but it is still good and worthy enough to buy. For those who "miss" Nick, shut up and actually listen to the music.
