We don't really call it AIDS anymore, we refer to the virus that can result in AIDS if it goes untreated. We generally talk about HIV. Please rather refer to it as HIV, some of us lost close friends to AIDS who didnt get treatment on time. It's kinda re-traumatising.

Horrifying and i've heard in prison it's incredibly hard in the US to get meds. I couldn't get a tylenol so I hope they heal b/c this seems like a war crime. It all does to someone who isn't an expert and from what I hear, experts as well.
