Imo, KiyoYachi is super gay-coded. Was heartbroken when SPOILERS Kiyoko ended up with Tanaka in the end. Non-sensical.

kiyoko was alot better with tanaka from the start if you truly have seen tanaka character arc kiyoko was very good foil for his arc

I know i‘m late here, but i think it’s interesting how we ship pretty much contrary things. KuroKen is one of two ships i actually see in the Series (alongside Asahi/Noya), and BokuAka and especially Tsukushima/Yamaguchi i never got. To me Tsukushima and Yamaguchi are very obvious friends not lovers. Also, from a Volleyball perspective, it’s always really funny, because most popular ships in Haikyuu are just a setter and their Main attacker.

Oh I don't see Asahi noya or kuroken. Despite everyone saying Kuroo looks like that at kenma🥺 Interesting how many different people see these pairs differently as coded to friends I honestly never got it. Nor do i understand Iwaoi hype. I see kagehina, bokuakaa but tbh you can say most of these pairs are set tropes in romance. Kagehina are rivals/lovers trope, Soulmates trope etc. They bicker like old married couples. I didn't see tsukkiyama tbh but their relationship is pleasent. The thing is we don't know if at all there's any intent or it's writing healthy relationships between friends acc to the mangaka. I'm assuming coding is supposed to have a subtextual intent. But after reading a 50 manga more or less the same way, i don't know what to see anymore
