thats a great sized package for the car. Can you recommend a rechargeable pump? Too much effort to pump up at my age.

Check out the Zempire Supercell pump, that's probably your best option - www.snowys.com.au/supercell-pump. ~ Ben

I am seriously considering getting this air gazebo, but I'll have to do more research on the solid attachable walls first.

How does the roof cope with rain ? The steel ones always sag and pool with water .. we have a hack with some electrical conduit that sorts that . But wondering if these would pool water overnight
@SnowysOutdoors9 ай бұрын
Good question, I haven't used this in wet weather sorry. The roof set up relatively tightly so I don't think it would be a problem, the frame also runs right along the ridges so there is minimal sagging. ~ Ben

Hi Ben, which is easier to set up - this, or the zempire Aerobase 3? In terms of quality, which would be better, is Zempire really $200+ better? I have the Pronto 5, and love it, but am having a hard time justifying so much for a gazebo
@TomWilding19 ай бұрын
I have a pronto 5 and I’m in the same boat. If you look closely at Quests Air Tents they look remarkably like Zempire, features and all. If I was purchasing again, it would be a hard toss up
@krismezza9 ай бұрын
@@TomWilding1The only thing I don't like about this one, and I may be wrong, but the side walls are not combined rain/bug mesh ones. It's one or the other? So if it starts raining and you have the bug ones up, you've gotta take them down, and fit the rain ones. Which I don't like, on top of the extra expense. Will need to do some more research first. But these and Zempire are prob made in the same place, just a few tweaks and a name change.

@@krismezza I was weighing up the same options at the end of last year, and managed to see them both on display each beside each other and that my mind up that the Zempire Aerobase is much better, it’s just sits must stronger, I can’t imagine having the quest gazebo up in the wind I honestly don’t think the guy ropes in themselves would hold the structure up, I put a small bit of weight on it and it started falling over but the Aerobase was solid as a rock camping during new years

I reckon lots of people will be having the same debate. In my opinion, the Quest Air Gazebo is a good alternative to a regular steel gazebo. The shape is much like a traditional gazebo with upright sides and plenty of walking/head space and the air frame is much more forgiving that the steel versions. Someone wanting a gazebo for a market stall for example will probably favour this over the Zempire Aerobase. The Aerobase, however, is more of a shelter than a gazebo. It offers a sturdier frame with more slope to the sides and less headroom particularly in the doorways but it would be a better option for a beach shelter or for use in exposed/windy locations. Hope that helps. ~ Ben

Can you hang a regular gazebo tent under it?
@SnowysOutdoors7 ай бұрын
We haven't tried it, but unlikely - regular gazebo tents have hook and Velcro attachment points specifically for the frame its connecting to. This gazebo wouldnt have those features ~ Lauren

@SnowysOutdoors9 ай бұрын
Yeah, fair call. On the flipside, an individual is likely to find 80-90 strokes on the pump easier to manage by themselves than lugging a 20kg steel frame around. ~ Ben
