I will add one more reply; I have visited many countries throughout the world. Never once in all my travels, did I ever enter a country without proper ID and permission. Some countries are really hard-core like Italy ,who kept me at their entry point with a valid passport for hours. This is a critical mass situation without question.

Peter, I'm 62 years old and have lived in the Mcallen, TX area all my life. What you're reporting is right on point. It's a very unusual area to live in because all around us are cartel members, drug smugglers, and alien smugglers. Yet for the average citizen we just live a normal life and these illegal elements don't bother us. They treat it as a business. I know many people who have served time or are serving time for these illegal activities. I would never had guessed that they were doing these illegal acts because they just blend in and behave like everyone else. Keep up the good work!

Oh my gosh, Peter - this was an extraordinary episode. This was well balanced, and I admit that I actually (and quite unexpectedly) started feeling compassion for what Tony is doing, and the people he is trafficking into the US. I'm surprised that I even find sense in his feeling frustrated at the flood of migrants from the other parts, as they draw unwanted attention. I wasn't expecting to feel even an iota of sympathy for him or the people he's helping and yet I do. My family immigrated to the US legally. Up until this episode, I've never felt an ounce of compassion or given benefit of the doubt for those that do it this way. You've inspired so much self-reflection on my part. I pray for your safety, as you dive deep into the underbelly of this particular beast. You are such an inspiration, by getting these perspectives out there and touching on topics considered untouchable or going against a narrative. Amazing job!

Not only that, Canadians can legally stay in the United States for six months less a day with no issues hence why there are so many Canadian Snowbirds who spend the Winters in places like Florida and Arizona. @@Tracey125 that's wild. Why do the families spend all that money to send their child to america illegally.? I just realized that, that means they are making ALOT of money atm.

I have wondered how they are able to get all that money as well. It's crazy how much they have to pay and you're not even guaranteed you will be able to stay or that you make it here. Tomorrow it will be 107 degrees and the humidity is bad I don't know how these kids make it.

I live in the Valley. Houston is 360 miles northeast of here, Laredo, maybe 150 miles northwest of here. It's an area very isolated from the rest of the US. They were walking through either an orange or grapefruit orchard. Please keep in mind that most Vallyites don't see any of this even though we know it's on going. Peter, this is good reporting.

@Susan I also live in the valley and I have never seen any of this going on. I do know that if you don't keep up with them they will leave you behind. I believe that is what happened to the little boy that we all saw on t.v.crying. I have heard about the horror stories before of people being left just south of Falfurius checkpoint and they die of heat strokes. I know several ranchers put water out in their pastures for those in need. It is brutal what these people go through, all for the American dream. We need to consider ourselves blessed to be living here.

People going through so much hell...paying outrageous amounts of money to get into the USA... Nobody is going through all that to go South of the border. I suppose that means that the United States is still a great nation.

Hi Peter, I work for an organization involved with this Process in the USA. It seems that the man being interviewed is smuggler not a trafficker. A smuggler moves people from A to B and their relationship is done. A trafficker holds someone against their will, exploits them, uses debt as a means to control the person. 2 different words. Appreciate the you showing the show story, asking question to see different sids of this issue.
