It's a very unusual area to live in because all around us are cartel members, drug smugglers, and alien smugglers. Yet for the average citizen we just live a normal life and these illegal elements don't bother us. They treat it as a business. I know many people who have served time or are serving time for these illegal activities. Oh my gosh, Peter - this was an extraordinary episode. This was well balanced, and I admit that I actually (and quite unexpectedly) started feeling compassion for what Tony is doing, and the people he is trafficking into the US. I'm surprised that I even find sense in his feeling frustrated at the flood of migrants from the other parts, as they draw unwanted attention. I wasn't expecting to feel even an iota of sympathy for him or the people he's helping and yet I do. My family immigrated to the US legally. Up until this episode, I've never felt an ounce of compassion or given benefit of the doubt for those that do it this way. You've inspired so much self-reflection on my part. I pray for your safety, as you dive deep into the underbelly of this particular beast. Hi Peter, I work for an organization involved with this Process in the USA. It seems that the man being interviewed is smuggler not a trafficker. A smuggler moves people from A to B and their relationship is done. A trafficker holds someone against their will, exploits them, uses debt as a means to control the person. 2 different words. Appreciate the you showing the show story, asking question to see different sids of this issue.
