Fortunately I was using my laptop, so didn't accidentally dial anyone. Ha ha ha! 😄 …but I was still wondering about the “Evan” joke, so I searched online to find the punchline. I think it might have been about a play on words… Heaven / Evan …but I'm not sure. But if so, then those two jokes really rounded out the video. The Dad joke is related to gender, and Heaven is related to the Bible. Even though I was trying to think of questions spontaneously, there were pretty good segues and callbacks. …and the first joke was related to time, so that's also an earlier topic. Timezones were mentioned. It's a trifecta! 🙂

Normal Siri can do most if not more things than the new one, except that it lacks memory.

I was using an M1 MacBook Air with 8GB. I'm not sure if that's a problem. Siri's performance overall did seem similar to recent experiences. I think that's one of the nicest things about Apple Intelligence, seeing the M4 Mac mini with 16GB of RAM standard, instead of so many years of the Mac mini stuck at 8GB. 🙂 Unfortunately, the base storage is still stuck at 256GB. 🙁 But as a test, I just tried “Who am I?” on my older Mac. *_“You're asking me, Michael?”_* She gave a better answer. HA HA HA! 😄

@@PhoticsTV "I'm not sure if that's a problem" nah, it isnt. the new "AI" siri is literally just the old one with a few extra features and chatgpt integration. nothing about it is generative ai. it just has basic answers it can tell to basic queries (and for some questions, it has multiple, so it picks a random one from the answers). Literally any non-Apple Intelligence device can run this new Siri. they're just arbitrarily limiting it

a lightyear is just distance so is just miles and so is just kilometres. You dont convert Miles / Hour to just “kilometres”. You convert Miles/Hour -> Km/Hour

Hopefully you're one of the first ones to like this video. 😄 This video is doing alright so far. The views are a bit below average, but the like ratio is excellent. Crossy Road videos are usually the most popular on the channel, but I don't think it's healthy for humanity if this channel is exclusively about video games.

Siri doesn't seem much better than the last time I tied using her months ago. That's too bad. With things like NotebookLM, Google is taking the lead with this stuff.

When I asked the new Siri am I human she said I can't say, Idk if it's a bug but I am on iOS 18.2 Developer beta so maybe they fixed that. And also Siri will not bring up search results if you ask what emoji that is, it will ask chatGPT. Edit: never mind, I asked the same question and she said let me listen and opened Shazam 😂

There is a lot of inconsistency, which is why the “Knock Knock” example is significant. It shows how it's challenging to anticipate when Siri will get confused and it's difficult to understand why Siri got confused.

It already flipped to 1K before I could even reply. This video seems to be doing alright so far though. Of the last ten videos, this is ranked fifth. That might not sound very high, but the top four are all Crossy Road related. So, of the “Smarty” videos, it's getting nice traffic.
