I loved your quirky behavior on Alone. And I mean that in a good way. You made me laugh and you touched my heart at other times. I am glad that you are you. You kept it interesting. Plus, you have a lot of knowledge and I am glad you shared it.

You were by far the most comfortable contestant I’ve ever seen on any season. You truly embraced the environment and you could see even through the tv screen just how at home you were. I am postulating now but I think ultimately, this may have been part of the reason why you tapped. You realised you were home all along and had achieved everything you wanted too. Truly inspirational. The money is great… but the lessons you’ve taught thousands of people around the world are priceless. Thankyou Timber! Legendary season! Congrats to all contestants!!

Best program on television. A big reason are the contestants. All of them.

Best season of Alone yet, and most impactful because of the trust in provision you showed and the decision you made to exit, knowing money or not there would continue to be provision each day

Be yourself! I like it when people express themselves in their own way, it makes them special and unique. The same way you were very outward on your faith. We need some rolemodels. Sometimes it seems that we're sort of alone in that, so thank you for that 😀

Thank you for this Q and A!!! Looking forward to MORE content! I loved your journey on Alone and wish I had a tenth of the skills you have and you’ve made me inspired to just get busy and see what I CAN do. Press on!!

I love your answer to the last question. seeing a community develop organically would be amazing. it reminds me of astronaut selection exams where the people that stay the longest are the people that work together well, not necessarily the "most skilled"

When your job is survival, you thrive. I loved this season, the podium members/the final three I would trust with my life in an apocalypse scenario.

Fun video and entertaining. The chocolate cake dream was hilarious. I don't think any excuses should be made regarding being an alpha male. You hit the ground running from day one, knowing exactly what to do out there. *That* was incredible to watch. You were one of the most comfortable and skilled contestants, so I hope you'd do an all-stars season. Please don't change the misfit side of your personality. It's really great. Re: the working like a maniac comment. Remember when Jesus said to Martha that she was anxious and distracted- when she was working so much? He said to her that Mary chose the better part: resting at His feet, being present. Mary was just being still.

Out of all the seasons, you made my family laugh, cry and inspired us more than any other contestant. This wouldn't have been possible if you were not you! Watching you and the top 3 felt like watching survivor superheroes! Did you choose to bring a personal item like family photo? I may have missed it, but I don't recall seeing anything.

I thought your Alone journey was amazing. You brought a wonderful sense of playfulness to a fairly serious situation and managed to communicate your story in a positive unique way May I ask you Timber Were you able or allowed to speak to the producers while on Alone if you had any questions about hunting or trapping rules?
@jeannemyers4893 ай бұрын
Me again. Congrars on your new upcoming baby girl! 👶👍 And yes, bit of pure castor oil should help that along. 😉 Also, the families/group challenge is an awesome idea. I hope "Alone" will consider doing that. 😃

Would you have been better off not getting a Moose?
@nightshadefern1623 ай бұрын
The 365 idea is, wow, seriously good. It reminds me a bit of a mutual assistance group, in a way. I could see it working, or falling apart- it really depends on the group mixture. If the group was initiated by one couple and the rest were admitted one at a time or one couple at a time only by unanimous group vote (one nope= nope), that might solve some of the problems before they start. I have never seen a weir in action, heck never even considered one, thats something to think about. Had you spent the time prepping for a moose kill, you might not have been there to make the moose kill- seems like you had the priorities correct. Thanks for another insightful video.

To your producer answer, there is a show kind of like that on Netflix at the time of this comment. Its called Outlast and it starts with 4 teams of 4 and the last team wins. You can switch teams, steal, or try to isolate. You have to be on a team though and you can get voted off even if you don't tap out. Kind of interesting.
@jeannemyers4893 ай бұрын
Timber, my 45 yr.old daughter and I loved your macho man rendition at Fort Moose head. And yes you proved you are a bad "a" when you took that long shot and downed your moose, hauled all of it out, processed and managed to preserve all of it. Real women love macho men. God meant for you to be that way, and real women respect that! ❤

There was a show similar to what you're describing that I think you would really enjoy. It was a British show, I think it was called iron Age man? They got a group of people to live like they were in the iron Age for a full year. Lindybeige Has a great video about it called: Iron age man - the John Rossetti interview. I think it's a brilliant idea, The participants came out with some very interesting insights about modern technology. It's not exactly the same but it's as close as I can think to a "group alone". I think the best aspect of it was that it wasn't a competition as far as I know.

The logic on the moose cache. Would you have focussed solely on fishing and would the experience have been harder if you had only fish? Was the moose meat amazing when it was fresh and you fried it up?

It’s funny watching all these KZbin guys that go alone in the jungle somewhere claiming they don’t have any food and water. Only a machete and live of the land building shelters and chopping all day. Catch 1 or 2 fish and surviving? You did the real thing and those fake people have millions of followers? Well done mate for showing us your skills ❤️❤️❤️
