Question I’ve applied for Tyson and was invited to come to orientation in two weeks, my question is there any reason Tyson wouldn’t hire a diver during orientation? Before I quit my job?I ask because my current company isn’t bad just want to be home more often.

Do you experience a lot of downtime? Walmarts kill me 3-5 hour waits both time over on pieces on weekends no one in OSD. Hard to get anyone in central dispatch on weekends or really anytime after 4 pm cst. Zero communication on if lots are going to be late. (Example load was supposed to be up in Maryland today (Monday 5 am) pick up in WILKESBORO NC 1800 Sunday. At 1900 I called where’s load 2300 call back time change on 1st delivery to 5 am Monday no new time for 2nd delivery (mine). 10 am this morning called why am I still here? Any loads out of here? Was their a new delivery time for Maryland. No loads no on delivery time. All we can do is give you downtime. 2 pm call 5 am delivery Maryland Tuesday morning….. but wait there’s more. Outside carrier.

Is broke down no ETA on trailer to WILKESBORO. Last week run to Springdale get a new Volvo. Never drove one and never will drive another APU is under the bunk even removing the side skirt you can’t get in to remove cover to check oil or belt. CB ant doesn’t work (lol) can’t downshift no up or down on dash. (Read the book 5 times). And these are like the old fords you can fun off the fan but air still comes out the vents. They claim in the book the air must recirculate. I did see a few new ones out their with the camera in the windshield this one don’t have it but the holes are in the panel for it. Btw if you are on cruise and hit the wipers for the bugs cruise shuts off, if u hit the lane depart cruise shuts off, 1/4 mile spacing or it screams 1/4 mile is way to much imo that’s leaving a truck and 4 cars in front of you so you have to slow down even more. A few trucks I seen with the stickers of smart valve or something like that on them. They won’t allow you to go any faster then the posted sign. If your on a 65 and it picks up a side street at 35. Ur now doing 35 until it sees a 65 sign.

Yes I have down time comes with it. But if I sit 12 hours I get layover. Had to sit 25 hours in Eagle mtn Utah. Which was hours late.
