The viewer who is looking for an SUV between $40-$50k, get a Tesla Model Y. The long range RWD from inventory may cost between $35-$37k after $7500 tax credit (if you qualify for that), and you can get it at 0% for 5 years these days if you put 20% down. That 20% is easy if you do qualify for the tax credit as that could be your down payment plus you may have to put an additional $1100 to make it 20%. The best deal that you can get on any car these days, especially on Tesla. Model 3 is also a very good option and you can also get 0% for five years.

In the EU, ICE, HEV and PHEV cars imported from China are not affected by the raised tariffs; it’s only EVs imported from China.

@SlipAngleG70 at least you considered it, although I hope you drove it too because that car is all about the feeling. Since you want a classic N/A V8, I’m guessing you would appreciate that as well so as they always say test drive all your choices and see which one speaks to you. Good luck, doesn’t sound like you can lose with the choices you listed.

This is to comment to the viewer who drove a Maserati GT, liked it, didn’t love it. Not in the same class, but, similar idea. I drove an original super low mileage 1975 Chevrolet Vega Cosworth yesterday. Great condition. I liked it, but, didn’t love it. It would be a nostalgia play for sure. No power steering or power brakes. No A/C. I’m starting to lean now towards a more modern sporty car. 50 year old vehicles unless resto modded, just don’t drive anywhere as nice as newer vehicles(for obvious reasons). I actually like the idea of a Jaguar F-Pace SVR. Quite a juxtaposition from a classic original vehicle.

As you probably know my and I are habitual viewers of your channel and love the content. That being said this is the first time I disagree with you wholeheartedly unfortunately. The one question was about getting a compact or sub compact SUV to replace their car that the person can also transport their nephew. You suggested Tesla 3 but that's a car. IMO a better suggestion would have been the Tesla Y especially in the US since it's around $50K. Please correct if I'm wrong and thank you for all you informative videos.

Person from NC: Kia Niro. Sedan like, lots of room for car seat... Andrea & Zack overlooked the Kia Niro which is a great city runabout. With your budget you could get the EV model or PHEV. Since the Niro EV is a slow selling there is a lot of cash on the hood. You could get either one for about $43K US. Put the difference in a fund for the grandkiddo's education!

Maybe the viewer wants to choose a Chevy Trailblazer over the Chevy Trax, bc the Trax has an INTERNAL WET TIMING BELT, while the Trailblazer has an EXTERNAL TIMING CHAIN. You for sure do NOT want a timing BELT and you for sure do NOT want an INTERNAL WET TIMING BELT. If you have to change an Internal wet timing belt it will cost you a small fortune, not to mention it could destroy your engine ❗ Hey guys, you might have mentioned that to everyone. : )

Subaru’s hybrid will use a similar designed AWD to the ICE but the transmission will encorperate 2 Toyota Designed Electric motors driving two differentials sending 90% of the power to the front wheels and 10% always to the back wheels until full power is required so NO CVT with chain !! Only an E-CVT like Toyota. The new Engine (2.5/152 hp) will be tuned for fuel economy similar to Toyota’s design (Atkinson Cycle) to achieve better fuel economy and more torque that will shave off about 2 seconds of time to get to 60 mph. Let’s hope their MPG improves enough to warrant the increase in Price?? I’ve also heard that only 1 model of Forester coming, fully loaded Premier so that as well will jack up the Price. Toyota at least offers multiple models with better prices for those who can’t afford top trims so Subaru will not see Toyota volumes of sales. Good Luck Subaru 🤞🤞

There are Toyota's like the Trailhunter, or first reserve on a 4Runner, that are over 100k here in Texas. The rav4 prime was 70k as well. At this point Toyota are priced where Lexus used to be at. I'm hoping that Toyota Elitist STAY at Toyota branding, and stay away from Mazda.

Toyota is completely pricing out a lot of their loyal customer base. Hundreds of thousands of Toyota families are now switching brands because they just cannot afford to drive Toyota's sticker prices and over-the-top interest rates. Rates are down in every other brand, yet Toyota still holds strong with the 7%+ on most models. Additionally, they can't keep up with production in general. If Toyota lowered their prices, and did 5x the production, they would own 70% of the market in every category.
