How weird. It would seem that Toyota chose to swap the Landcruiser and the 4-runner, so that the later is on the top. And What they basically did to the new Landcruiser, is to copy what Land Rover has been doing for decades. Hmm... That's weird. Kind regards.

$75000 in USA is just too much for an Acura! Since you have to spend to upgrade charging as well, to many other brands that offer more proven results but it is nice looking and Honda reliability is legendary!

Great look at the Sorrento. One piece of that plastic around the shifter cost Mazda a sale the Civic used the anti-fingerprint/ scratch material there. That was the difference. Perfect for 1 kid.

It looks like a cheap touch and feel interior.....a lot of plastic and ugly design, with the tablet in your face and on top of the dash ill conceived positioning.....and what do you mean, "leather trimmed" seats.....lol. You pay $60k for this vehicle and they can't give you full leather seating??? You nuts with your fixation on SUVs......you've ruined the US car industry and created a proliferation of ugly, trucks, and large Jeep like vehicles and then a commercial run on the bank with pricing through the roof. Bring back the ICE passenger sedan and modernize that product.

Buying a Hyundai/KIA (IMO) is like buying a generic brand electronic device at Wal-Mart that was made in China, & paying as much for it as a good Japanese brand. Sadly, Korean manufacturers seem to prefer to mimic Chinese quality/service standards instead of Japanese ones. But, they sparkle nicely when brand new, so what could go wrong?

Another often forgotten competitor choice would be the Subaru Ascent. Starts around $45k with a couple more trims at around $50k (similar to other options here). The Mitsubishi is quite a bit less expensive but is also quite a bit smaller (since it's basically just a 3 row Nissan Rogue).

Nissan's CVT has definitely improved a lot in the recent years, probably to the point where it's not as prevalent. Majority of people who says so otherwise most likely haven't driven a Nissan since way before COVID. I'm loving my 2023 Rogue which I purchased last September and my 2019 Sentra has not had any issues since I purchased it brand new.

It looks good (reminds me of a Grand Cherokee from the front) and seems to be well equipped and a good value. However, I have no idea why they put a twin clutch transmission with the turbo trim though. If you get one of these, buy the extra warranty. I paid $2300 for the extra warranty on my previous Kia and got about $7000 in repairs covered with it (although, it was a hassle to deal with the dealer every time for it). I sold it as I was just sick and tired of dealing with it. It was good during the warranty period, but everything started to go after about 7 years. We know 4 people (including ourselves) who had the 2.0L Turbo engine and 3 of them had engine failures (was about $12k). So if you get this, get rid of it within 5 years or buy the extra warranty if you want to keep it long term.

I am hating the car industries, sticking these Turbos in the engine its setting us up for failure, i have a $120,000 2019 Mercedes Benz S Class Turbos failure and engine oil leaks 40,000 miles, purchased it brand new
@jeffer1101
@jeffer1101 4 сағат бұрын
@@polofunk The car industry marketing departments are why we have so many small forced induction engines powering our vehicles. We are told about "better fuel economy", but the size of the engine doesn't determine that. Power does. An engine is simply a device that converts fuel into power and in turn, motion. If you are driving in a manner to "request" 200 HP, it doesn't matter if that's a 3.0L V6 or a 1.5T I4, you are going to use as much fuel as necessary to create those 200 HP. You can get a certain amount of power out of a 2.0L turbo I4 engine. If you want to double (roughly) the power, you can simply double the engine size, to a 4.0L V8. Alternatively, you could also just double the amount of fuel and air by using forced induction and achieve the same thing, which is why they do it. However, most people who have more power, will likely use it, which is why you'll struggle to see the supposed gains in fuel economy. When we had the previous gen Sorento with the 2.0T engine, it would typically be around 13L/100kms in the city. Our new Forester (that replaced the Sorento) gets around 10.5L/100 kms in the city, which is about 25% less fuel used, which is great. The engine is larger (2.5L vs 2.0L) but it isn't turbocharged, so it isn't using as much fuel and making more power.

I have a ‘23 Defender 90 and love it. To the viewers question on engine…my question I have for Zack and Andrea is how in the world can Land Rover direct a 20k service interval for oil changes? This is outrageous and I hypothesize is a cause of some of the reliability issues noted. I have changed my Defenders oil at 5-7k and will continue to do so. I have to think that will help with engine reliability
