Camaro gets Carbon Fiber Borla S Type exhaust ***DEEP and LOUD***

Que, u came thru again. U helped me decide on my Steeda H pipe for my 19 5.0 with active exhaust... My boy at work heard it and decided the stock exhaust on his 16 SS Camaro isn't up to par. I'm not a Chevy guy so maybe u can help. His SS only has the dual tips, not the quad like the stang. From what I've read that means its not the active npp....? I recommended the Borla S type, we searched for videos and here u were. For a good sounding exhaust that wouldn't b to loud would u recommend this for a non npp car. I think the atak might be to loud w/o a quite mode. I know there's also Corsa but that's like $1300 vs the Borla @ $800. Idk, looking for input from a Camaro guy. I'm all Mustang and he don't mod cars, he just drives them. Thanx

Hey thats awesome! Glad I was able to help with the videos. Yup quad tips means NPP active exhaust. I can recommend the borla S type. It give it the deeper tone, just like the H pipe to the Mustang. I haven't hear Corsa in person but i was told the Borla S type is deeper. And yes a lot of people say the ATAK is loud. My Borlas were $1700 and I don't feel they were worth that price. I did get them with NPP and carbon fiber that adds quite a bit. If you can get the single tips for $800 I say go for it all day. Thats a good price and the S type won't make the neighbors mad. @@QueTheChaotic right on. I love the s types. Deff deeper tone. The atak and corsa get that higher pitch raspy tone. Summit racing has the s type axle backs with black tips for $810.99. I'll tell him to go that route. Thanks again. Love the vids.

I totaled my first 17 redline ss last July and i found another one with only 1,550 miles on it and got it shipped from Minnesota to Philly. There's a house right behind my driveway and that 10 cam ss with the headers was louuuuud and I leave for work around 11 at night so I couldn't be mad at my neighbors complaining. I have a couple of videos on my channel. I couldn't blame them for being annoyed, no npp on the 5th gen and I'm sans a garage. Que I'm terrified to drive the replacement because people here drive crazy especially these Mopar fools. I always think somebody is going to hit me or turn in front of me like the nut I hit did. @@QueTheChaotic I was walking my dog, he's a local celebrity and on Instagram btw....otterthepitbull, and I was talking to a guy like 2 blocks away with a vette. I told him about my loud exhaust and he was like I can hear your car start from here. That's when I knew it may have been too loud. On the playing around with these mopars I don't do it. I drive like an old man. I'm not letting anything happen to this one and I'm loving this magnetic suspension. What's crazy is i went to buy a Yukon Denali I seen online and the day before me and my wife went to look at it for my second time, it was her first time seeing it and she noticed some paint and body issues I didn't see, like I said I'm getting old. We told the salesman about what she seen and I was going to get it anyway. The next day we rode back to get it and it wasn't there. They said it wouldn't be back for several days because it was in the body shop and I was disappointed. I was looking for another camaro for the last 6 months before i seen the Yukon and I just didn't see any I liked. Anyway I came back home and I said let me look for a camaro one more time. Que they had just posted this redline that day and it looked just like the one I crashed and then the mileage....omg this thing is like brand new. Two weeks later on my birthday it was here. Cost me almost a 1,000 to ship it but I didn't care. I didn't even know some of the 2 ss's came with Mag-susp. I thought only the 1le's came with it. The other one didn't have it. I've only driven it 3 times so far and it's almost been a month. Now I have to decide if I'm getting a Borla or Stainless Works. They both sound good. The Borla's are more expensive but they definitely are worth it. Decisions Decisions

Considering the same set up. I wonder if I wanted to, if the Borla logo could be removed cleanly. Kills it a little for me. On my carbon fuel filler door I unbolted the carbon pieces, had the door paint matched, then reinstalled. Looks really OEM+ now.

Get some long tube headers to make the exhaust that much louder, and you can gain decent power (after a tune) when doing the headers.
