In par with Yoda . If you can decipher Yoda’s language , and then understand his silence . You get a lot . Course of 900 years a death or loss couldn’t make him turn to the dark . He was immune, the strength to build that was immense. But arguably in highschool I used all of Sidious quotes in English class just to share those insane quotes . It is one of those tributes, that fly by, because you are too amazed to watch it. Qui-Gon is one of the real ones, and I believe it to be the best tribute that is devoted to him. As for you, master creator.. Managing to summarize this character, his belief, his purpose, finding an inspiring track... This is truly marvelous. Thanks for this.

At the end of the Phantom Menace Qui Gon was burned at his funeral. Then in the end of Return of the Jedi, Luke did the same to his dad Anakin at his funeral. Qui gon was Anakin’s true father and now I can imagine that he is proud of him for finally redeeming himself. Rest in peace Qui Gon Jinn and Anakin Skywalker. You both did well.

You mean mentor by saying true father but don't wanna a misunderstand for beginners at Star Wars lore, Anakin born by The Force ["The Force"-imparting microorganisms midi-chlorians (you can find more info about midi-chlorians in The Acolyte)] and fatherless (seem lil bit close to Mary and Jesus).

This was PHENOMENAL man WOW! Never have I seen an editor depict the true meaning of the "Duel of the Fates" so perfectly like you did here in the opening of this video. Loved everything about this tribute, and how Qui Gon really was the key to all of it. Even in death, he was still a key player in the battle against the darkness. P.S. - I can't get over this section until the end. Especially Anakin/Qui Gon's funeral parallel. Beautifully done!!

@@SWFT_editsFantastic work, Qui Gon is such an important character. Obi Wan deeply regretted that he had always doubted Anakin, and that he didn’t stand up for him against the Jedi council. Whereas Qui Gon never stopped believing in Anakin, and neither did Padme, and Luke. Anakin did face his demons and save the universe (and Luke) just as Qui Gon said he would. I’m sure that Qui Gon forgave Anakin, that he understood what Anakin had to go through.
@SonsOfGrim4 ай бұрын
I love this. I believe the 4 most important people in the Star Wars saga are Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Luke. Qui-Gon was a follower of the living force, defying the Jedi council not to disparage the Jedi Order, but to save it. Obi-wan, the prodigal knight, a true Jedi who never let anything falter his teachings, no matter how painful. Anakin, the Broken, who only wanted to save and fix since childhood. And Luke the Redeemer, who would rather die than fight his Father. Who’s willing sacrifice would put Anakin back on the path so he could fulfill his destiny as the Chosen one who would bring balance.
@samalvey81685 ай бұрын
He was a true Jedi, perhaps more true than anyone else knew. The sad part is that he blames himself in his afterlife for what happened with Anakin, but ultimately it was Anakin's conscious choice to betray his destiny and the Jedi rather than any direct fault of Qui-Gon's.

Except things would’ve gone differently for Anakin if Qui Gon had survived, without him there was nobody who could counter Palpatine’s manipulation of Anakin.

Qui Gon died too soon. But the fact that he still believed in Anakin even after everything that happened was the hope of a true father. He knew what the future would hold. That is why he accepted his death and tasked Obi Wan to train Anakin. It was a long road toward balance but that it was all worth it in the end.

I truly believe that the prophecy that Qui-Gon foresaw came true. Anakin destroyed the Jedi and the Sith he brought balance to the force.
@WhiteRabbit-cs5jn5 ай бұрын
Actually, it is more believed that bringing balance to the Force = destroying the sith, as they are the one who disturb the peace and harmony in the galaxy with their evil, sith are wound in the Force. And from this point Anakin brought the balance - he defeated Vader (in himself) and Palpatine, so only Jedi remained in the galaxy
@Jack_Gears775 ай бұрын
@@WhiteRabbit-cs5jn The sith were not the sole cause for the imbalance in the force and for millenia the Jedi had all but eradicated them causing the imbalance to be in favor of the light but anakins prophecy and his actions that led to it destroyed the Jedi and sith reseting the balance

Man, the only reason why I continue to love Star Wars these days is because of tributes like this. The trajectory of star wars is suicidal right now. Thankfully, these tributes remind us the true beauty and the actual meaning of Star wars. It's why it is not yet dead to me at least. Keep up the great work man
@kimitachi223 ай бұрын
in a way Qui gon is the jiraiya of starwars in the naruto manga, jiraiya has the same role, the one who believes in the prophecy and does everything to make it come true and avoid the chaos that will inevitably ensue if prophecy doesn't come true. he makes a choice so that prophecy comes true it's like in starwars, who gon did everything to save the universe and make the prophecy come true, whether it's teaching obiwan, choosing anakin the child of prophecy, creating a clone army for a future battle and even after his death, become yoda's master in understanding the force beyond life. in the end, the prophecy came true, even if anakin lost his way for a while, his son took up the torch and helped him to remember who he was and to defeat the emperor together. “A Chosen One shall come, born of no father, and through him will ultimate balance in the Force be restored.”

In the original lore, he wasnt born on Coruscant, he was born on another planet. For Obi Wan's 15th birthday, he gave him a stone from a river from his homeworld (looked like the Arkenstone stone from the Hobbit). And when Anakin turned the same age, Obi wan passed it down to him. With regards to hos relationship with Dooku, he did appreciate his master but he ultimately disliked his philosophy which was inherently selfish. He even said that he just needed to learn from his master, not love his master.
