I might co-write the longest fic in this fandom, whose story arc and purpose is to finish the Song of the Ainur. Your creation here is beyond incredible, the storytelling concept a fantastic exploration of canon details most people don't know exist. But the visuals...gah! This made me cry, it's so overwhelmingly beautiful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this...things have been rough IRL lately. Part of that rough was getting trolled over AI content in some of the illustrations for our story, and...let's just say that it was our first encounter with antis on this topic. We learned some stuff, but having people try to strongarm us into tagging our work as having AI content after the images were removed, uh.... I want to hope this toxicity will not find its way to your doorstep but if it does? I'm one of the voices shouting that it is the regulators and the software companies that need to clean up the mess. Creators who have visions of how to bring content to the world like this that is brilliant, uplifting, and overwhelmingly gorgeous without Amazon level budgets for CGI should not get told 'no you can't' because of the dozens of gray areas. You did an amazing thing here and I know how difficult it is to wring 'your vision' out of this software with still images; I can't imagine what is involved with video sequences. So much appreciation for all of your effort, especially when due to your choice of subject matter you've signed onto the 'can't even pass the hat for donations club.' It's a labor of love, though, and always worth it.

I still have to watch this, I just discovered it, just have to say I love the idea. While unfortunately Tolkien didn't get to publish the Silmarillion and there are obviously issues with it, it's by far the most important of the whole legendarium. LOTR or the Hobbit cover just a short period of time, they are just stories within the big story, the Silmarillion is the whole history of Arda, from the creation to the end of the second age and it's truly epic. I'll give proper comments after I watch it.

Hopefully we'll get another episode : you're post is becoming "en vogue" in some FB Tolkien groups (notably a French one named "Groupe Tout Tolkien"). Great narrative faithful to the Legendarium. It's not in competition with the film world, but rather a way to create a quality presentation of a scriptwriting (i.e. a "storyboard" serving as a support for the narrative). Well worth discovering, Kudos ! 👍
