Quick and Detailed Final Trials Guide - Zelda breath of the Wild

So level 19- everybody pay attention here. Author says he does not like this level. If you play this the way they intended, yes I imagine it would suck. But I hate parrying as much as he does.... so here’s how this is done...... While in the last “break” level, cook up, gear up, switch to a two handed item, and switch your shekah slate ability to stop-time. Enter the level. DO NOT run forward and attack the guardian who’s daring you to step forward. Start with the sleeping guardian behind you..... Stand behind the guardian. Press Y to pull out your two-hand. Then press and hold Y and knock the sense out of that thing. By thr time it wakes up and realizes it’s under attack, it’ll be smoked. Go to the next one along the right wall. Repeat the process. And the next... repeat the process. Be smart- stand behind it to that the live ones don’t hit you. Also, be ready for your two hand to break... you’ll need at least 3 of these. Otherwise, use a one hand and some skill to hack them down. Make your way to the center one (the one that was on when you entered the level) as it starts to take aim, stop time on it and get into position. I went into this level dreading it, and warped out with a big ol’ smile. They never touched me. I have all my shields. Moving on...

The best part of the last level is, after you take out the Lynel and the Turret, you can just sit on that pillar and pick off the helpless Bokos at your leisure. It's such a relaxingly sadistic way to finish off, like a little prize.

I almost died on that level because I missed the Lynel with the first ancient arrow. Thankfully I stayed calm, allowed myself to get hit a few times by the Bokoblins, and kept my eyes 100% on the Lynel… as soon as he got close, I froze him (Stasis) and then Ancient Arrow’s him from point blank range 😅 after that, I had to scramble up the tower (still getting hit a few times on my way up). Once up in the tower I was SAFE! Healed, then killed the turret guardian easily, obviously, then blew up a lot of the rest of the bokoblins with bomb arrows. From there I glided down and bullet-timed the remaining 3 of them, and finished one last one off. If I had panicked with the ancient arrows, I could’ve run out, then the Lynel definitely would have killed me

@@charlesg7926 I used to ice rod from floor 15 because I also missed the lynel with my first anceint arrow due to a dumb bokoblin decided to turn and cut right in front of my shot as I released it. The Bokoblin got sent to oblivion in stead. So then the Lynel and all the bokoblins started ganaging up on me and I was getting scared. I popped a full health food equipped Blizzard Rod and swung it around like crazy. The bokos dropped off their horses and shattered like frozen ice cubs. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. When I killed the turret the portal out opened so there were were no stragglers left lol..

One extra tip (For the final level) Save the Blizzard rod you get from Floor 15. Once you get to the final floor. Zap the Lynel with the ancient arrow as normal, and then use the Blizzard Rod to deal with the calvary. It creates an enormous frontal cone freezing them in place/one shotting them. Easy win.

If anyone cares, I’ve listed chests/items he misses within the video. Floor 2 - a royal guards sword Floor 5 - five ice arrows on Floor Just pay attention to where the lightening strikes Floor 12 - there is a hearty radish in the corner Floor 17 - 5 bomb arrow in chest. Melt the ice Floor 22 - knights shield in the middle of the room ontop of the wall. Can’t miss it I might’ve missed a few chests on some floors but the chests I found were a great help nonetheless. I’m quite good at parrying guardian lasers (not trying to brag) so it was a little easier on rooms with just guardians. Just a tip if you want to parry the lasers always listen for the “pew” sound then press ‘A’ as soon as you hear it. Practise makes perfect but whatever helps you defeat the guardians without breaking a sweat then do you 😊. Even though I saw the video and was prepared for the Lynel on the last level I still panicked and lo and behold I missed with the first ancient arrow so panicked more. I got it the second time before the Bokoblins reached me 😅. @Relyea Thank you for the video once again it helped me a lot. I’ve finally completed the final trial yay!!! 😁 🥳 God bless

Tip for the Stalnox (and any Hinox fight): use stasis when he’s standing, it makes it so much easier to hit his eye. He can’t shield his eye either.

Tip #2: if you're desperate for health, blow up any trees you can after beating all enemies, to collect wood. Cook 1 wood to make a 'Rock-Hard Food" equaling to 1/4 a heart. By the time you get to the safe spot to cook, you should have about 16-20 wood (4-5 hearts worth).

@@Jason_Van_Stone the reason it’s not worth it is because your time is more valuable than the 1/4 heart. Once your 30 minutes runs out, you’ll take WAY more damage (or do way less damage)

One of the wizrobes on an earlier level drop a meteor rod that shoots out bouncing fireballs. Keeping that for the last floor is perfect because you can dismount almost all the riders before the battle even starts

I came back to trying this Sword Trial last night for the first time in months, and I died on the second to last floor. I was proud because I never made it that far, but disappointed I died so close to the ending, but today I retried it, and after a few embarrassing attempts of dying in the thunder area, I tried it one more time, and I actually did it. This guide was pretty helpful in warning me how to deal with some of the Floors, so, thank you very much!

The only recommendation I would make IF you ever decide to re-record or re-comment your video: Ice monsters are destroyed on one hit with fire and vice versa - fire monsters are destroyed with one hit with ice weapons. You more or less point out when battling the Talus trio- but this can help take out the fire and ice wizzrobes, and even the ice and fire Lizalfos. The right weapon for the right job.

You can also turn trees in to bundles of wood cook the bundles one at a time for a quarter of a heart each. Sometimes every little bit helps.

Pro tip to anyone reading: The flying guardian is a piece of cake. All you need to do is *stay on top of the tower* and *throw bombs at it’s propellers* . (Unlimited bombs, not the bomb arrows) After 5-10 bomb hits, the propellers will all explode and the flying guardian will fall, and lay defenseless on the ground forever. Once this happens, just jump on the ground and hit it on the propeller side and it can’t target you. I almost felt bad for it, lol. Also for the very last level: Immediately run to the right and climb up the tower. Even if the things are chasing you, just *get up that tower*. Don’t waste your ancient arrows on the Lynel until you’re floating in the air and can slow down time!!! I missed three straight shots at the Lynel like an idiot, because I started getting hit and panicked. But, I had like 4 fairies left and plenty of potions and I really had no reason to worry so much. By wasting my ancient arrows and NOT hitting the Lynel, I ended up dying from the Lynel. It’s pretty much impossible to kill with the lack of clothing you have, it one hits you every time and it’s a very unforgiving fight without the ancient arrows. So be gliding in the air when you shoot it, and shoot it point blank close up range- do not miss!

Tysm! This will DEFINITELY help me out when I eventually gather up enough courage to do it lol. But here's another tip: When you get to the break rooms, cut down the trees, collect the wood, and then cook one bundle of wood at a time. This will give you a quarter of a heart. Which may not seem like a lot. But trust me. It's helps A LOT. Make sure you cut the trees down with the remote bombs though so that you don't break your weapons. Also, when you find fire or ice enemies, use a fire weapon on the ice ones and an ice weapon on the fire ones.

Thanks for these guides! Was able to avoid shield parrying on Floor 19 by running perpendicular to an active Guardian, using the updraft from the flames made by the laser, stun it, then get behind it to melee it down. Did a little dance on the last three to force two to begin locking on then canceling from line-of-sight. Had 9 Ancient arrows, ended with 3. 👍 Now back to enjoying the rest of the game with a 60 power Master Sword!

This guide is a godsend, I have one recommendation, though, for Floor 19 and if you suck at shield, reflect thing. You do not need to shield reflect at all this floor. The way I did it is I froze the guardian with the time stasis ability and then used a bow and arrow to shoot it in the eye, I then wailed at it with a strong heavy melee weapon. When he dies 2 more will show, you can use the thicker trees as coverage and also the guardian itself, just focus one at a time, shoot them in the eye, and wail on them with a heavy weapon.

Some tips to make the challenge WAY easier ONESHOT the elemental enemies with their weakness (lizalfos in the lava stages or the fire mages -> with frost weapon) (Lizalfos in the snow stages or The frost mages -> with fire spear/fire arrows/magma staff) Makes your job waaaaay easier Two more important things: no need to use a frost resistance food. You can have a fire weapon on your back and it does the same work- keeping you warm Same way you can melt the ice spikes hiding chests. Just hold a fire weapon and they will melt slowly without spending any gear Upvote this so more people get to see it :)) And thanks for the amazing guide

Thank you so much for this guide. I’m just now getting into BOTW after first playing TOTK. This guide was very helpful for tips and getting an idea of the battlefield before going to the next stage. In my run, I ended up using ancient arrows on both Lynel, the single flying guardian, all three guardians in the mixed room, and the final tower guardian. From what I can tell, there are enough arrows to also include the first guardian stalker with one to spare if you’re good with aiming. Needless to say, I’m glad this is done. As much as I felt good beating the gauntlet, I have to say it was very stressful compared to the rest of the game. Probably not going to repeat it any time soon.

Oh I noticed something I didn’t notice on my first play through. When you climb the stairs of glory before receiving the finished sword there is beautiful map of hyrule colored up surrounding the chamber. So freaking cool. Love you guys and god bless

Wasted about 40-60 arrows and my shields, but I managed to beat all the guardians without using my shields. All my shields got destroyed immediately and so I thought to hell with it went by the big tree and shot about 10 arrows directly into each guardian. I did get revived by all my fairies and I did use one ancient arrow but it was awesome!! Thanks to this awesome guide I was able to complete the trial !!

YYYAAAWWWPPP! I finally beat the final trial after about a months hard effort. Thanks for the video and thanks for the inspiration. I made it to the last room once but after taking out the Lynel I died pretty quickly not being able to take out or get away from the bokoblins fast enough. It took me another two weeks to get to the final room. In that time I watched another video where a person used the fire rod from the fire wizzrobe to create an updraft and get away and create some space between you and the bokoblins. I was able to do that and take out the Lynel from the sky. I next went to the tower and took my time taking out the guardian turret first casting stasis on it and hitting it with whatever weapons I had left, shooting it in the eye when it recovered and continuing to bash it. When it was gone I first was so stunned that I had actually gotten that far. Not wanting to die I stayed on the tower and tries to attract and take out the remaining bokoblins. I was able to take out all but three with arrows and bombs but three would not come close enough so I carefully glided to the smaller tower to the left and was able to take them out with arrows. I did it. I shout my barbaric YAWP!

Thank you so much for this guide! I really wanted to finish the Final Master Sword Trial before playing Tears of the Kingdom, and was able to do so in one try. I can now confidently say I've completed everything Breath of the Wild and its DLC has to offer. (Well... everything except for 170 Korok seeds, which I'll look for at my leisure 😅) One last tip: Ice elemental enemies can be taken out in one shot by fire arrows/weapons. Similarly, fire elemental enemies can be taken out immediately by ice. Useful for getting rid of those pesky Lizalfos and Wizzrobes before they can wreak havoc.

I got it! Hell yeah! I just beat Ganon and on the way took out 3 Lynels and about 10 guardians- it is absolutely ridiculous how strong and durable that sword is when you’ve beaten all of the sword trials. You deal noticeably greater damage and just murk everything that comes your way. Now I’m going to try Master mode.

Firstly I finally beat it after maybe like 10 tries with your guide beside me! Even though this is some years old im still playing today :) More tips I found on the fire level is to use ice arrows on the fire lizaflos because its a one shot so you have more time on your boost instead of wasting time shooting and shooting. Some tips on the last level: Use the ancient arrows on the Lynel then run directly to the tower and take out the turret guardian. Also because all of the boboklins are all on horse with no arrows, you have the advantage of coming from a higher position like theres a broken platform with stairs with a treasure chest. Whistle them over and just use the remaining bomb arrows and itll blow them up in one kill! SO HAPPY I BEAT IT! THANK YOU!

I was without ancient arrow and i didnt know i needed to keep one for the last lynel. I fought him with everything in my inventory all arrows finished and food...he killed me with 10%hp left. I wasnt angry on a game for a long time. Thanks for the guide.
