Hello, these 3 prop are recommended to Moster 185 EFI too?
@skysportsusa50103 ай бұрын
Good morning! Great question. The EFI can only use Helix and Fast Acceleration propellers. The 2.68 version of the EFI uses a 125cm or 130cm 2 blade Fast Acceleration prop. The 2.87 EFI can only use a Helix 140cm 2 blade. We are hoping they open up the prop options. -Kyle

At the risk of being outside the bounds of "what you SHOULD do".... can you comment about what the consequences are for running a prop that is has a mismatched reduction ratio. Would it be correct to assume that having a motor/pulley that was 2.68 reduction ratio and putting a 2.87 prop on it would be placing you at risk of poorer cooling and is the higher risk type of mismatch? And, if that is so, would running a 2.68-ratio'd-prop on a motor setup with a 2.87 pulley be a situation where you might lose efficiency but you shouldn't really be "risking damage or overheating"? In other words, is running a 2.68 prop that is mismatched relatively safe/OK but mismatching the other way adds risk? Is this correct or have I gotten this backwards (or maybe there are other considerations)?

Good afternoon and thank you for watching. Let's take a 130cm prop. The 2.87 version will have more pitch then the 2.68. If you put a 2.87 prop on a 2.68 motor it is going to make it work harder, lower the max rpm, and create heat. If you put a 2.68 prop on a 2.87 motor you will not make as much thrust and possibly over rev the motor. I hope this helps. We would never suggest using the wrong reduction prop on a Vittorazi motor. Please shoot us an email info@SkySportsUSA.net if you have any more questions. -Kyle

@@skysportsusa5010 Thanks... makes sense that you could/would never recommend non-spec. I appreciate learning what the effect is though. Thanks again!

hi! interesting video.. im going to buy a moster my22... But.. i didnt know about 2 types of reducction Could you explain me whats the diferent between them??? Does Vitorazzi sell the engines with reduction "random"? or you choose it? thanks in advance for the answer!
@skysportsusa5010 Жыл бұрын
Good morning! Great questions. When we sell a Moster 185 Plus you get to choose your reduction. If you plan on using a larger 140cm prop the 2.87 is the option to pick. The 2.68 reduction only has 125cm and 130cm approved prop options. Shoot us an email info@SkySportsUSA.net if you have any more questions. We are always happy to help. -Kyle

@@skysportsusa5010 hi thanks for answer.. Well more interesting to know... wich one generates more thrust... wich less CHT... and maybe vibrations or noise... thanks again! (the prop that i want to use is Helix 130)
@skysportsusa5010 Жыл бұрын
@@ZeroGMVideosgood morning! I'm sorry I missed your comment. Helix produces the most thrust and is the most durable. E-props are the lightest and are very responsive to throttle input. The Fast Acceleration is a perfect blend of the two. We have not tested CHT. That would be something cool we should look into. -Kyle

@@skysportsusa5010 its fine! thanks for the answer... i bought Helix and 2.68 red... my doubt was about reduction, not type of prop.. but any way , more info always its good! Best flights!

Do you have to run a spacer if you don’t have a shroud?
@Hitchelfitkyle2 жыл бұрын
Hey Criss! Thank you for watching! Vittorazi recommends the 10mm prop spacer for Helix props even if you don’t have a cooling shroud on a Moster 185 -Kyle

Wonder if anyone has tried this on the Factory R? Says it has not been certified for it, but does that mean it's not compatible at all?
@skysportsusa50106 ай бұрын
Good morning! Thank you for watching! There are only two "Certified" prop options for the Factory R at the moment. That being said, we know people who are running E-PROPS and Fast Acceleration props successfully on their Factor R motors. We will always recommend the options that Vittorazi does to maintain your warranty. Have an outstanding day!! -Kyle

@@skysportsusa5010 This is really great to hear as I've been wanting to try the Vitto props for a while now. I've only ever run Helix on the Factory R but noticed others online had other configurations which made me curious.
