This recipe worked well for me. I was a little anxious as when I put the bagel dough in the boiling water they sank! However on baking they rose well but I lost the holes!The taste and texture were to my liking; will definitely repeat and will try poppy seeds for a topping. Thank you for your baking advice.

My pleasure 🥰 As whole wheat flour contain more bran particles, the bread will not be able to rise well.And thus it may turn dense and heavy.So it’s better to use some part [30-50%] of flour as whole wheat flour instead of 100% whole wheat flour.
