Hair detangles better when you comb out while the conditioner is still in. The conditioner causes the strands to be more slick and will untangle the hair better. Then run your fingers through your hair while you rinse out the conditioner

Yes, hair detangles better with conditioner on it and fully saturated with water. I always detangle in the shower.

My hair is the opposite I can’t detangle with conditioner in it, it actually curls tighter but it detangles when I rinse the conditioner out and the curl relaxes

Do you wash you hair in sections? You should, it would help with the tangles. Also detangling when you have the conditioner in your hair helps a lot

Using African Pride prepoo at the beginning of the wash process helps the whole thing! I detangle at the start!
