I've never seen it :-) I love all the old Christmas movies from the 1940's and '50's like "Christmas in Connecticut" and "A Holiday Affair." Plus "It's a Wonderful Life." These are really fun and easy teacher gifts to make! When our kids were little and we had Christmas vacation, their little cousin used to come and stay with us for the week. We spent so much time baking cookies and making our own salt dough ornaments. These gifts are ones that little kids could help with and have fun making. I wish there had been a KZbin back then! (Our 5 grandkids are 12, 11, 7, 6 and 5 and we will have all 5 here for the first time in 2 years this Christmas! I can't wait!)

Girl! I love this ideas! As a teacher gift giving gets expensive and doing a set of 12 jars would be perfect in the budget. We usually make sugar scrub for gifts but I definitely want to look into these options

Yes! It can get so expensive and you want to do something that conveys how thankful you are for the person but can’t afford a huge budget. Sugar scrubs actually sounds like a great idea too! I need to make some for myself! You look so glamorous in this profile picture BTW 🤩

Thank you so much! I look online a lot at Pinterest and websites like that. I also walk around the stores sometimes and see what I like. Once I see something I like online or in the store, I try to make it but put my own personality into it. It’s been really fun so far to try to come up with things to do, and my kids have been LOVING eating all my experimental treats! 😊😋

@@craft.eat.repeat.6376Well,you're still very clever at translating what you see into your own creations : ) Adelaide (S Australia) where I live is pretty apathetic towards Christmas (not much decorating in our local shops. It'd break your heart). I don't know if it's because the weather is usually so hot : ( and lots of people go away (camping..another : ( the girl guides in UK put me off for life) but it's still sad and my little granddaughter is so far away (Japan). Anyway,not many sleeps to go now. Happy Christmas!

Thanks! We are actually using fabric bags for gifts lately because they are reusable. I usually let the kids pick out some fabric at the holidays and I make a double sided bag with one side the fabric they chose and one side more basic and not holiday print. That way we can just reverse it for birthdays, graduations, etc. It's worked out well for a few years and they kids don't seem to miss ripping the paper off of gifts!

Really great ideas.......but I would recommend wearing food grade gloves.
