If I bleach my hair at home and want a chocolate brown over all color. Would my hair come out chocolate brown? After bleaching do I have need to tone the hair then apply the the chocolate hair dye?
@PhilipaMaloney495 жыл бұрын
Hello Mr Torres. Thank you very much for this very good demonstration. You explain in a very likable way. My English is not so good, so I did not understand everything. The hair on this video has already a coloration. How it is with the part of 5:04 (the comb parts) when I'd like to work on non colorated hair (hair that is only dark brown)? It this comb version enough to give color? And how did you make the temporal region? Comb or "V"- version? Ah, and another question: Do you wash the hair at the end (after exposure time) only by rinsing carefully the color out, or do you shampooing the color all around the head (also rub the color there, where the hair is dark)? I hope, you can understand my bad English, sorry.

🙋🏽♀️ Question: is the back combing done only on the last 2 sections in the back (the pieces in the crown area) and sides? Or on the bottom by the nape area as well?
@AlexTorresColor6 жыл бұрын
Chicky BC great question!! It depends on how light they want to go. For the maximum amount of lift on the ends you would have to do it all. Thanks for watching :-)

It looks amazing I have a question when started you didn’t apply on the sides is that because the hair was previously lightened?
@AlexTorresColor6 жыл бұрын
Ruth Mejia sorry Ruth I just saw this. I’m not sure I understand, but the reason I only apply to the top of the section towards the scalp is because we were looking for a more subtle effect towards the scalp and brighter on the ends.
@rmejia4136 жыл бұрын
Alex Torres i just watched the video again ☺️ the question is in the first section in the nape area you only balayaged the center part not the sides Hopefully I explained myself better now thanks for the response
@xhal766 жыл бұрын
I know i usually start in the back because its often the darkest, or if its processing quickly i can easily rinse the back while letting front still process. Or I may change developer strength in the front.

Why is it that artists say don’t paint back side but yet they place the paddle board, (full of bleach) behind the hair and slide as they stroke the bottom pieces of the hair. Doesn’t that saturate the backside?
@AlexTorresColor6 жыл бұрын
Romans116 through the ends you definitely want to saturate it’s just towards the scalp that you only want to paint the top. Great question!
@Romans_1166 жыл бұрын
Alex Torres I’m thinking When the hair is curled, wouldn’t you be able to see the backside flaws and spottiness? I’m thinking if you’re going to let the backside be touched with bleach shouldn’t you also balayage the backside? Especially for a dark hair being lightened. I see what you’re saying but I can’t visualize the hair not being compromised. Thank you for the response. Much appreciated
@Sha_NaLeaaaa5 жыл бұрын
Don’t you worry about lines on the bottom of your section after you saturate? I always go underneath and blends make sure there is no lines or spots from my board. That’s never an issue for you after place your board filled with product underneath your section? Hope this question makes sense! lol

very blended a appreciate the techniques but looks brassy that's why I don't like doing umbre cause after all that then you would have to go through and tone the mid shaft with a formula and ends with a different formula honestly it a 3-4 hr. service tons of product a pain in the ass too much work then clients don't wanna $ and I rather not anyone else honestly agree
