Quick Change Differential Tips and Tricks

Ever wonder how a quick change differential works? I walk you through the drivetrain of our pro drift cars and the parts that we use to push 1200hp to the ground! Carbon fiber driveshafts, adjustable differentials, and the biggest axles on the market! We utilize custom parts from The Driveshaft Shop for the absolute best drivetrain parts to keep these cars reliable.
The differential is from a company called Winters Performance who typically make these setups for sprint cars and other oval racing cars. We started modifying our drift cars to mount these up for better adjustability at the numerous tracks that we run at.

Hi, question on the differential rear gears, does it really matter if rear gears are inserted other way round as Dylan was going to insert them the first time? If it does make any difference would like to know why please. cheers!

They are 2x2 .120 wall. Nice and solid so it will not move at all.

It is a locked diff, that is what I prefer. All drivers have their own preference on what type of differential they like.
