These are great videos because they are so full of real life examples. I am definitely going to purchase some of these clips. I can use them for lakes up here as well. I go from rooster tails to jigs all the time. thanks.

Thanks, I getting older as well and don't like retying all the time. I was using one of the quick clips you showed in your video without the swivel, but was looking for one with the swivel. So thanks again your video was very helpful and I will be trying one of the clips that you recommend!

Yea man I love the clips. Tip you get 50 or more in a pack. So as soon as you've used them for a while and notice wear just replace it. They do last a long time but after alot if catches they do wear out. Good luck and Tight lines

Another great video, keep it up. I gave up on quick snaps years ago just because fishing around trout, founder and those lady fish I would lose a lot of fish and I would have to re tie my line bc it would get cut up. But I think I'm going to give these a try now that I have kids that way they can change their own lures out.

Perhaps that thick end clip works better if you have small split ring attached to the lure, usually crank/jerk baits as well as spoons they come with split ring out of the box.

Yea thats exactly what I started doing is on lures I really want to use and it doesn't fit. Plus gives it that extra action. Only problem I find is the extra weight in the front but not too bad. Thanks for watching

I believe that the one that looks like a paper clip is made by Breakaway Tackle locally. I used them for many years and finally gave up on them because to date, I have lost 8 Redfish that rolled in the water just before I netted them. The hook came right off the speed clip. If you think about it, it’s a rolling action that you use to put on the lure and it is a rolling action in the reverse direction that takes off. Carlos

@@WolfsFishing Oh, I put a swivel on it, but on several occasions, I lost a fish and the only thing left on my line was the swivel. I thought that it could have been a coincidence, but 8 times? I don't think so. I'm addicted to your videos. I'm 74 years old and live on the island. Maybe we'll meet on the water some time. Carlos

I've had problems with the Speed Clip sold by Breakaway, mainly with Redfish. Whenever they do a roll up close, the hook will twist right off the Speedclip. This has happened at least 5 times over the years. Why did I continue using them? Because they're so streamlined and fast. I'm going to try your top pick to see how that goes. I'll get back to you. Dude, those clips are made to go with lures that have large O rings or large eye holes that the clips can easily fit into, they are not made to go with a jighead that has a tiny eye hole and that's why you have a hard time fitting those clips into those jigheads. For jigheads you're better off tying a loop knot of some sort (Such as a Rapala Knot) directly to the jigheads without any clip.
