That was the best video I've seen on "How to" thus far. Was clear and concise without the fuss. Very nice job!

man you made this look so easy I though you had to get a triple square axle nut and remove the whole spindle. all I needed is a shock observer socket

Thanks man! Really great content! Finally a good S3 how to channel that they guy isn’t acting like an idiot! I now feel more confident that I can do this myself which I am very thankful to you for. I have liked and subscribed and can’t wait for more! I also just sold my Subaru for the S3, so this is a double win for me!

I have LOVED the S3. Great choice in vehicle and I hope you enjoy it. I just got back from Gingerman last weekend, I am going to have a video up on it in the next 48 hours. :) Any mods in particular you want to see done? I am ready to do something new! The track really makes me want to mod it more! Or... buy an RS3. I am torn. Let me know if you want to see a mod! Thanks for the support and have a good one!

The S3 for me is my gateway to the RS3. I already have it planned out and will own an RS3 in about 3 more years. I just picked up the S3 in March and have pretty much left it alone except a Unitronic stage 1+ ECU and Stage 1 DSG tune, with intake, inlet, and res delete. I think I’m going to leave it alone now because I am truly saving my pennies for the RS3 and all the mods needed to take that to Stage 2 as soon as I buy it. The S3 is an absolute blast of a daily driver though and have toyed with the idea of lowering it, but don’t know that I would do much more as I need the resale value to stay up there to help out with the cost of the RS. I’m so pumped! Haha only 3 more years man!!

That rear control arm needs to be in the right position before tightning the bolts. Loaded whit the car weight, because of the bushing. The bushings gets twisted to much otherwise

Hi :) Great video! I see the specification book with torque specs are 2006-2010, can I use the torque specs for the same thing you do on my 2017 A3 ? I have mag ride also and everything looks just like yours ?

Did you have mag ride and if so did you get it recalibrated. Any lights come on since install?
@phoenixfabrications64323 жыл бұрын
Yes I do have mag ride, I show how to disconnect it. No recalibration was needed. No lights have come on and I have done 20k miles.

How’s ride quality? Debating between these an 034s. What made you decide to get these? Hard to find any solid info on them.
@phoenixfabrications64324 жыл бұрын
I chose these based off what I was told by GRD Tuning, and based off the fact a few others who had them said they were softer that 034. I would have to say I noticed it is stiffer. It feels great. However in the comfort setting it smooths out to about a 15-20% difference compared to OEM. If you have driven an STi it has the feeling of that in corners, but much softer over bumps in dynamic.

Hi Great video, i notice no bump stop is fitted to the strut, did you remove it or not needed.
@cw205mi163 жыл бұрын
they look like inverted dampers (upsidedown), so generally have internal bumpstops

In other videos for MQB GTI/GLI, they disconnected the axle shafts from the trans. Is it not necessary to do this? You didn't seem to have any trouble.
