I noticed something interesting. As the R2 button fills up, the NPC speaking cannot be heard showing that Arthur is way more focused on the duel than focused on what the NPC is saying.

Shame this is what you have to do to duel since there is only like 4 actual duels in the game. And you just get a bounty since you shoot them first despite them pulling their gun, sucks but I do it too

I think it’s because you initiated the draw, but if you’re good at quick drawing without dead eye just antagonize them until they pull out their gun and aim at you ,then shoot

you hold right click and instead of the normal click to aim weapon you hold left click, it will fill up the draw meter

I thought you were really going to kill that dog and I was going to get upset, but that really isn't fair. I have stomped on dozens of kittens in this game, only the occasional dog as I wouldn't hurt a dog on purpose but I think kittens are fair game
