i really like what the GGD guys are doing with this series... great sounding plugins, affordable and easy to use for a lot of applications! been loving the fusion kit ever since it launched and i might get this one as well...

Great video man. This is by far my favorite song. I have it on repeat. Bought ur demo tape on band camp over the weekend. Can’t wait for the stems and neural dsp presets to come, so I can mix along with you! Keep up the great work.

I really love your drums mix here, but I don't have Smash & Grab. Is there a way to know what the different settings correspond to on a regular comp? Things like Beef and Air for example, or the different settings for Snare, Kick...etc. Thank you very much!

How do you bounce the kit pieces in Studio One? Did you just make new tracks and make the inputs from the Instrument sources?

I am getting the Library Content not found error. I've tried reinstalling the library/contact but it doesn't seem to fix it. Any help?
@SimenSandnes4 жыл бұрын
Tried to open it in Kontakt Standalone first? Make sure you have Native Access open first.
@TheJakesmitty14 жыл бұрын
Had the problem yesterday... you have to make sure both Kontakt player 6 and Native Access are updated to date. All I had to do was update my Kontakt player and it worked perfectly. Hope this works for you.

What are the settings in your actual GGD mixer?

Hey Adam, I have a question! I see that you have the drums bounced do you prefer to have them bounced with the mix you have in the lets say "main session" and bounce the drums and then create a whole new mix template strictly for mixing? And do you prefer this method as opposed to mixing it all in the same session? Thanks!
@AdamBentleyMusic3 жыл бұрын
I typically keep it all in one session. When I record my albums I have a separate session for recording drums though.

I have those same headphones, don't you find them to add a lot more bass than is really present in the mix? Love your content! :D
@AdamBentleyMusic4 жыл бұрын
It's definitely true but it's something you just get used to
@Romucci4 жыл бұрын
@@AdamBentleyMusic so you just reference it somewhere else and fix, or you use other headphones or make it extra bassy to compensate?
@AdamBentleyMusic4 жыл бұрын
@@Romucci nah I just got used to what "normal low end" sounds like in these.
@HenrikHensHuber4 жыл бұрын
I use them as well, but I got a software called „Reference Headphone“ by Sonarworks whoch is really affordable and counters exactly that (there is a profile for exactly those headphones) But even without that, as Adam said, if you get used to it you can really work with those phones

These new kits don't impress me nearly as much as the modern and massive and invasion kits - am I missing something here? Anyway your mixing videos really helped me out, thank you man!
