Hi Do v hv to pour d hot sugar syrup n beat in d stand mixer Going to try fr d first time so clearing all my doubts Also hw long to cook it minimum before checking fr soft ball test I don't hv a thermometer

If you don’t have a thermometer you can use the cold water method. And yes you need your stream in the hot sugar syrup. You can even use a hand mixer if you wanted😊
