I’m pretty blown away by this series. I started modifying my own cars during High School in the very early 2000’s and ordering parts and often times “knock-offs” from eBay back then was a big no no, or at least came with a lot of caveats. The level of quality products you can regularly find on there now at low cost is amazing.

Here is a tip for the 8th Gen Si guys for a cheap big brake upgrade. Acura TSX Pads Rotors and Calipers. Rotors are same diameter but thicker, the pad you get 26% more surface area vs the standard Si brake pad. So you get more thermal capacity and a touch more clamping force. Just requires trimming of the backing plate. Another option is the 4-Piston Brembos from an (05+) Acura TL Type-S (3.5L) with Honda S2000 Rotors. S2000 rotors are a bit harder to find local stock, but easy to find online, the 4-Piston Brembo is used by 72 different cars (Mustang, Camaros, BMWs, Tesla etc etc.) so lots of pad options. However going this route can ruin braking balance if you're not careful. Other thing, Skunk makes a short throw shifter adapter. Its the stock shifter, you just replace an internal part, its like $65, and you get a nice short throw. Last mod I would do is an Excedy Stage 1 clutch+flywheel. Its like $750 CAD for both parts.

with some massaging you could run a 17x9+22 upfront and a 255/40/17 and max rear you can run is a 17x8.5 +35 with a 215/40/17. It's a really good combo for the car to rotate well with rear sway bar. Also, for the front lower control arm, if you run a spherical (full race, moog, or pci) with TL-S brembos , FD2 brembos or Stop tech kit works to make a fun track car.
