Thank you for this! We bought this unit in Dec 2021 and in January of this year, it stopped drawing water into the pot with the k-cup filter. Ninja gave me a good coupon to replace the unit. And then last week, the 6-month old unit started doing the same thing. Customer Service was stumped. They sent a replacement base (which had zero accessories - no water tank, coffee scoop, frother, filter insert or k-cup insert! I watched this video and sucked the grounds out of that tube on the left on the k-cup insert, and cleaned it out! It appears to be working now! Thank you!

Super helpful video. Mine went into clean mode so I followed the instructions in the manual. Still wasn’t brewing. Followed your cleaning process and used a metal straw cleaning brush on the tube and could not believe how much gunk came out of it. It had to be almost completely clogged. Doing another full cleaning cycle on it now and it already sounds much better than it did

If you have an air compressor, this fix takes 3 secs. Just blow air into the water port. The plastic tube on the right. You'll here a little pop, and then you're back to brewing. I literally just did this.

THIS!! This worked immediately! I tried poking paperclips into the pod adpater, everything looked clean, but the grind were packed in tight where I couldn't see/reach. With a 1-second burst of compressed air I heard the same "pop" @kmsleo84 suggested, and my pod adapter is now good to go again - thanks for posting!!

very good video, I have a problem with my ninja DualBrew Pro, which is that it does not detect the section of the capsules and is well placed, however on the screen the 3 modes are lit and does not let you do anything, I tried cleaning the nodes as you explain in the video and does not want to work, will there be a solution for that or in that part of the coffee maker will be the problem?

I figured out the problem. The tube where the water goes in was blocked. The paperclips did not work. But when I sucked on it, I got a mouthful of coffee grounds. Yucky! I did that a few times and then ran the clean setting. All is good now.

Once you take the K-Cup option out of the coffee maker with a closed if you blow through the water hole and you can't there is still a clog in it, try running water through it sucking and blowing you should be able to blow air through the K-Cup adapter freely if not keep working at it

Maybe try a pipe cleaner in the tube rather then suck on it to loosen grounds then run a cycle without a k cup in it.

This is my issue. Halfway through the cycle water/coffee just sprays everywhere and even on rich the brew is weak. I have tried several methods of filling the pod, packing it hard to not packing it- different amounts of grounds, ect and same result. I am using reusable pods I got off Amazon so it's useful to hear others are having the same issue with regular k-cups. I'm thinking the pressure is not sealing about the top and water is pushing out the sides around the cup? I'm not sure how to fix this? I've been a Ninja user for many years and I was very excited to try the pods for quick on the go cups. For now the switch to this more expensive model was not worth it for me.

The only thing that works for me is a very tall cup. It’s not a fix and you shouldn’t have to do that but it’s a solution

Run water through without a K-pod, and it will flush out the coffee grounds. I do that every other day, depending on how much it's in use. It's nice and clean.

Wondering if you could help me with a DIFFERENT issue I'm having with this machine. I can't seem to find anywhere on KZbin that has an answer for me. We are on our 2nd Ninja DualBrew machine since Christmas and BOTH machines seem to have too much water pressure. So much so that many of our k-cups explode at the final step in the brewing process. We often get a tablespoon of coffee grinds in our cups and have to cheese cloth our coffee before drinking. I would say this happens 50% of the time. Not sure what is happening as we are using the same McCafe pods (so not cheap ones). We are just about to return our machine for the 2nd and last time to Costco. Is there ANYTHING we can do to fix this problem? Surely we aren't the ONLY ones who have gotten the only two lemon machines, lol. (Although I can't seem to find any fixes on this issue online 😕) If you can help, I would GREATLY appreciate it!! Thanks.

Thank you for this information. I used mine this morning to make a full pot for the very first time, but I noticed after the brew cycle stopped, there was still a remaining stream of coffee pouring in, and stopped after another minute or two. . is this normal? Also, there were some grounds that went into the coffee pot. I am thinking that maybe I didn't place the provided paper filter in correctly, but if you know of anything else that that could be a possibility, please let me know.

Yes that is what is sounds like if the filters is not installed properly then you will get coffee grounds around it. the coffee still coming out when its done is normal, you might also being using too fine of coffee, make sure its med ground coffee. and make sure you are only using 1 table spoon per cup you are brewing. make sure you don't use the drip stop too much during the brew.

@@JustADad I am not sure if this made a difference or not, but yesterday I made a full pot. There were literally lots of grinds in the carafe. So what I did is run the calibration for people who are in high altitudes. I am only 57 feet above sea level but I figured, why not, go for it. After doing this, I made two additional full pots of coffee, and there was not a single grind found in the carafe. If anything changes I will report back.

I'm considering getting one of these as my kuerig k cafe is acting up. I'm hearing that there is a problem getting grounds in the coffee. Is that for kcups or the carafe? My kuerig always has sediment in my cup so I am trying to make sure the ninja pro is right for me. Do you have a descaling video for it? Is it the same as a keurig?

Did you get the Ninja? We get grinds in our k-cup 50% of the time.... like a tablespoon worth! We have to cheesecloth it, otherwise, we have to chew our coffee which isn't pleasant. We are on our 2nd Ninja with the same issue.

@KevandDenise We did, and we love it! I've never had grounds in my coffee, and it's easy to make a single cup without a kcup so you can adjust the strength of the coffee. So much better than our keurig, I'll never go back to a keurig after using the ninja.

It's by far the worst machine I've ever owned, Ninja support was also abysmally bad to deal with. Keeps saying clean, done that the only way I can get it to make coffee . I have to open up the lid half way. Tons of steam release and then it finally make a cup. When using the k cup , it just throws coffee grounds in the cup! Which is (upon research) a huge issue with them too. Pure 100 percent plastic Chinese made garbage these machines. I went back to my 8 year old Keurig. Super glad i didn't throw that one out... The Ninja went to the landfill as offcourse it was past the return policy date. Never again I'll buy a ninja coffee maker, what a joke. They should stick to ovens and blenders, which I do own and never had issues with. So no hate towards Ninja aside from their mediocre help desk

I just opened my coffeemaker. Followed *ALL* directions. The three needles on top will not puncture the k-cup, so all I’m getting with that option is a cup of HOT WATER. I made 1/2 a carafe of coffee-no issues. Is there a way to adjust the needles in the coffee make so they actually PIERCE THE TOP OF THE KCUP?
