My mother told me to get the fuck off of every Harley I ever owned up until her death in 2006. I usually listened to her but not when it came to my bikes. Been riding Harleys since 1984 and still riding them today. I do wish that I had held onto at least one of my Shovelheads though. Looks like I’ll have to buy another one. They just have such a great sound.

The only one that comes close is when I opened my shed during a storm and the wind blew it shut on me. The door knob has a 3/8" bolt sticking out roughly 2" which nailed me rite on my rib.. it took me down and I swear to God I thought my wife shot me because she was yelling "checking on me lol" and I said u dirty bitch u shot me😂 oh the shame in that story is real. You need kick all the way through. Bring it to TDC and kick fully. Try using your left foot it may be easier.

All true, add don’t turn the switch on until you’re primed and ready at tdc for max compression. then turn the switch at the top of the kick. Gives you a hotter start.
