Very helpful. Thank you for this. I used it for the Alpha InTec 40GS2 the valves are blue though but logically opening them restored the pressure and REMEMBER TO CLOSE VALVES AFTERWARDS

'...It may have a braided hose assembly..' doesn't show you how to reset pressure for boilers with braided hose assembly.... and mine doesn't have those taps.

The principal if you have the braided hose is the same. At either end there will be a quarter turn tap with either blue or black handles. Turn one to open fully, then gradually turn the other until the gauge displays the correct pressure level i.e. between 1 to 1.5 bar. Then close both handles.

Hi Simba, there should still be taps at either end which you need to turn in the same way as shown in the video.

And how do you refill it with a braided hose and only one side is fitted??

It is simple to attach the other end of the hose. Look for the matching quarter turn tap with blue or black handle and then push the hose on to the valve. Turn the nut to secure it (only needs to be hand tight) and then you can follow the topping up method for a braided hose. Turn one of the taps to open fully, then gradually turn the other until the gauge displays the correct pressure level i.e. between 1 to 1.5 bar. Then close both handles.

did not work for me and I followed the instructions . Opened the switch on left slowly and continued to open but boiler pressure gauge did not move . It is disappointing to have 2 faults already seemingly as new boiler only installed a few weeks ago . Hope the manufacturer is open over new year holiday when I ring ( wry smile ). I wonder if anyone else had same problem ?
