I I have the HF100 in both colors which is a good worker with good sound. But the HF150 and hf950 are also great. I have them all here and running

I have a Sony SuperBeta HiFi SL-HF950ES that's still in my Home Theatre Cabinet (not so much in use today). I Also have the Sony JOG/Shuttle Remote RMT-232

I have the same model in my setup and the same remote control which I understand was an optional extra, at least in the UK. Really a great remote and it'll be in a video coming up soon as some of the buttons aren't working.

They certainly do vary a lot in condition and the clock VFD so commonly goes dim with age too.

hi have a betacam sp 1800 with 25 hrs the betamax decks have 100's of hr's i finding betacam 1800 are all under 500 hs some of the SONY A500P decks are not used alot get this the sony 75p deck have alot of wear on them i am finding they keep the decks running in the news rooms i would say the sony A500P were used in live trans i used to know a bbc man he's getting on now bob

Certainly are some low hour examples out there of the Betacam kit. Still love Betamax the most though.

hi been working on parts decks hell this make show alot of heavy wear on them i having to use them as parts alot got to come from a beta copying place you know the ex hire they copy over from vhs to beta and hire out the beta tapes you know the over 18 lady's of the night ones like in the minder one terry get's asked for one HA HA alot of this went on a bit i used to know a video repair man he said alot of the hire place made alot of they money this way 5 kid's 1 under the counter

Interesting and I wonder how they got around the copy-protection and/or macrovision although maybe those particular tapes didn't really have any?
