Thx , was just about to have shop check for an elusive bruise that may or may not be there... maybe over inflating a bit would also help to expose it if it has one...

I heard a flapping noise driving and found inside of back tire seriously bulging. Think tire separating. Trying to attach photo. How do I do that?
@hackfreehvac2 жыл бұрын
You can't attach a photo to KZbin. If you see a bulge then it's separated for sure. If you keep driving it can suddenly blow apart. Blow outs are the worst. If it doesn't cause the vehicle to pull in one direction, it can rip your fender up or worse.

Bummer. My Yukon is making a flop noise in front and I noticed my tires are old and have cracks inside the tread. Very expensive 20 inch size Cooper discover. I'm not fully convinced yet cuz I think it might be a wheel bearing.

My friend had Two Nittos A/T i think the Terra Grapplers and this happened in about 7 months from each other we have no clue why.

I just went to a tire shop today for a patch and they came back with all 4 tires are separated and I’ve worked at a tire shop before and have had people come in with 1 sometimes 2 tires but never all 4 I can’t jack it up and check but I can run my hand over it and I do not feel any dumbs grooves or wavyness the car did have out of state plates . Yall think they were trying to run my pockets or not ?
@hackfreehvac10 ай бұрын
Man they might be. Unless your tires really are that worn. You'd be feeling that in the drive tho.

Does this normally cause a vehicle to pull in one direction or the other at higher rate of speeds? Feel vibration?
@hackfreehvac4 ай бұрын
It more often causes a shake in the wheel if it is the front wheel. Pulling could be unlike tire tread between the front two, uneven air pressure, or a shift in the front suspension from failing A-Arm, Control Arm etc. That can be dangerous if that is due to a failing component.

My car was pulling to the right so I thought it was the alignment. Turns out it was the tire splitting just like this. Luckily I didn't pay too much for alignment. Got a Groupon deal.

It's good to find out before the tire separates at speed. Can mess up the car yet alone steer you off the road.

do u have any steering wheel vibration while having that tyre bulge ?
@hackfreehvac2 жыл бұрын
It's been a while but that's likely why I examined the tires.

Can this happen to a new tyres as well?
@hackfreehvac3 жыл бұрын
Not as likely unless a defect. This is usually associated with age and wear.

How much longer could you drive on this?
@hackfreehvac2 жыл бұрын
Not long. Once the belts separate in the tire it usually explodes as you're driving down the freeway

I jacked my car up and put it in drive and I dont notice any buldges or bumps, but rather the tread doesnt seem straight, when its spinning the tread is kinda dancing left and right. Its hard to tell if its the whole wheel or just the tire but its really minor, I cant tell if its an issue or not. My car is to the point where its wobbling up to 40 mph and vibrating past 50mph, under 40 the steering wheel is visibly shaking but past that I cant feel it in the wheel that much unless I decelerate or brake. Any advice? Both cv axles are new Also: the tires I got were off an audi at a junkyard, this wasnt a problem when I first mounted them but it progressively showed up after a week or so. they still have plenty of tread on them and I havent seen any chunks/bubbles on them upon inspection
@hackfreehvac2 жыл бұрын
Several things can cause vibrations or shake. Out of balance perhaps. The tire shop can fix that. Worn ball joints or control arm bushings sometimes adds to that effect. The tread can get choppy if the struts/shocks are blown out and the wheel hops at freeway speeds.

There is possibility that camber is positive side

Is there no way to fix this?
@hackfreehvac2 жыл бұрын
There is. New tire. The bulge is the separation of the steel cords inside the tire. Leaving it like this is a guaranteed blow out. The worst type of tire failure.

That's super-hard to see with you moving the camera and the tire at the same time.
@silvrr2 Жыл бұрын
It's not super hard you just don't understand what to look for. Since this happened to my friend twice I saw it before he mentioned it in the video.
@alafrosty Жыл бұрын
@@silvrr2 I have seen tire separations before and know exactly what I'm looking at. What I'm saying is that the video is attempting to show what a tire separation looks like, but because the hack was holding the camera instead of putting it on something stable, it's almost impossible to see what he's trying to show. I know exactly what to look for and I'm not even sure that I can see what he's saying because the camera angle is moving up and down and side to side so much.
