Hey Chris what I like too do in the raw bumpers is the same celan them with alcohol mixed with water then scuff pad with soap and water after all that I mixed bulldog in my sealer then spray it been working for me keep up the great videos

I think it was Dupont that had a version of that, it was more transparent and kind of an eggshell blue color. I used it, worked great. I painted in sw Florida 40+ years, always hot. Lol That bumper turned out nice!

What gun you used? And what was the clear coat. Usually 2000grit and orange polishing pad and meguiar compound will fix it

Hey love your channel learning a lot from you, question you always say what pressure is set to at the gun but, what is the regulator pressure in the hose? I set my gun regulator pressure to what you say but my regulator on my compressor has to be way up to get the same pressure at the gun. I have a small 27 gallon compressor can you touch on this please?

Ok, Great question, with a 27gal compressor I probably would not use a air line regulator. It doesn't produce enough air to call for it and you don't really need to regulate it in the line as long as you have a pressure regulator at the gun. I set my air line regulator at 100 psi but, it produces a lot more air. I would try it without. Still use moister filter tho.

Can you include the brand of clear, and if you’re mixing any reducer into it? I’ve noticed the brand and thickness of the clear can impact how easy it is to spray it flat. The U-pol 2:1 clear is much tougher than the U-pol 4:1 clear for example. Some clears will also shrink more if you reduce them. Great videos!!

Also, some brands will continue to flow out after you spray it and waiting for it to flash, while others set up quicker,so what you spray is exactly what you get.

Absolutely makes a difference. The brand I'm using is the finish 1 fc710 spot panel clear w/ slow activator. I didn't reduce the clear. amzn.to/3RQ7p6O

If the paints in good condition, you just need to sand with 600 and you can paint over it.

Is Bulldog a flexing additive Or just an adhesive ?

If you want better results for flex you can add it to you paint. It come in a quart as well

Yeah I'm from bardstown Kentucky I ain't paying nothing about 30 years but back in the day we always use it a truck enamel whenever I never before but do you cut and buff ever call you paint I'm just curious about that because my buddy he's Steve's body shop man and for 47 years and I'll see him sometime. Because he does a lot of work at home now he's on disability is it is still playing EJ do his work in Louisville Kentucky and body shop down there he works for people for a long time until you went on disability and start doing his homework

All real paint systems have their own adhesion promoter for raw plastic bumpers. As a professional painter, this was hard to watch.

Of course they do, not everyone has a paint system, this is a great alternative.
