Can a 61 yrs young woman do this if she never did and is slightly or maybe more than slightly overweight?

Hi Lynne - yes, our Pilates workouts are designed for all ages and levels! We encourage you to always listen to your body and modify (or skip) exercises based on your needs and comfort level. ❤️ And if you have any specific concerns, we recommend speaking with a medical provider to make sure you're cleared to do Pilates, as well as any specific precautions you might want to take.

Every time I do those "pulses" it hurts my low back, is it somethig wrong with my position?

Hi Fiona! You might want to try scooting your feet closer towards your body and/or placing your feet on a step or block. We also encourage you to modify by only going as high as what feels comfortable for you. And as you continue with Pilates, you will only continue to make progress and build strength. 😊
